That Hawaii system could make me look like a great QB.

And I understand a lot of people say he is actually a good QB, not just a "system" guy, but I don't know if I would want to take the risk.

Michale Vick hs a cannon but he is an awful QB -- arm strength does not equal leadership, smarts, and the ability to run an offense -- Eli has no respect or clue with his strong arm

A strong arm doesn't automatically make you into a good QB. Joe Montana did not have a strong arm and Jeff George had a very strong arm and who was the better QB?

Id be willing to say "system guy." He broke Shaun Kings record in the Bowl. Shaun King -- Tulane.

Other names that come to mind are Robbie Bosco, the Detmers, David Klingler (sp); Andre Ware etc etc etc.

He looked good last night -- but unless he looks smaller on TV -- Id pass.

I like Pennington as much as the next guy, I own a #10 authentic jersey, but...

Anyone who watched that Denver game last night saw some of the throws a big-armed prospect could make. And quite a few of them I said to myself, "No way Pennington makes that throw."

I don't know how many times I said "WOW" watching Cutler throw. He has to have the best arm in the league. How about the flea flicker play where he threw a bullet 45 yards in the air. Guy has a monster arm.

JaMarcus Russell has a stronger arm than Jay Cutler.

Russell is similar to Culpepper in size and ability. Russell has a better arm than Culpepper and looks to be smarter.

His skills will need to be refined a bit, but I see no reason why Russell will not be a major starting QB in the NFL in a couple years.

Shanahan suddenly doesn't look so dumb for benching Plummer. He gets many of the growing pains out of the way, while still staying competitive and having a good playoff shot. I think the E word is starting to be used in Denver to describe this guy... and that is saying something.

you guys should stop judging qbs by velocity because if we went by that then joe montana wouldve had no NFL Career and Jeff George wouldve been the greatest wb ever to play. He has shown us you dont need to bomb the ball 80 yards to be successful.

At this moment 1023 CST Balt owns the 2nd seed & SD the 1st so Balt would have a bye in week 1 of the POs. We would get either Indy or NE in game 1 of the POs
