Close...the fuck you will be him resigning with three weeks to go in the season at 0-13 and then we win two under Gregg Williams to knock us out of the #1 pick. It's actually not inconceivable since Gase likes to quit on individual games before they're finished, why not a season?

That Gase's fault that Bell didn't run well?
He was slow and couldn't hit a hole even were. Laid out a year and didn't attend pre-season. Too much about Gase. Never blame the player when he doesn't perform except young QB's

It is gase's fault he was missed used behind a bad offensive line. If you give the guy 20 touches it helps the young qb that Gase has already failed. GASE is POS and there is no way anyone with any football knowledge can defend him. Even if was slow he was still your best running back, do you actually thin gore is better? come on now be real who is the better running back Gore or Bell?
If the idea was to help Sam they f'ed him and the fans . Getting rid of bell does nothing for the team does nothing for Sam and does nothing but piss off the fan base. They had money and draft captial and never got another receiver? this team is actually worse then last yr and how the f is that possible if you are rebuilding?

Isn't funny in Miami gase got rid of players he did not like star players and he is doing it here and you are blaming the players instead the losing coach who can't handle people question his genius? His genius that has 30 double digit loses in the NFL we have more double digit loses then wins under gase.

Use him as a damn WR, he would have been the second best WR on the field for the Jets yesterday.

This assumes Gase returns for 2021. You’re scaring people.

If so, his one half of healthy football may go down as the best defensive half in NYJ history...

That's not the point. The point is that this dipshit coach alienates player after player. Nobody wants to play for this clown. He is completely TOXIC, and only an organization of imbeciles would keep him around.

    He's not a leader. Obviously.

A rudderles fiasco of a football team under the horrible Johnsons jerk offs

This is a time for us to band together against, ironically, the team that we love. Not a time to turn on each other but I gotta say this is a terrible take.
Bell was the most talented player we had.

That is a surprised. I thought Bell looked ok on Sunday. Perhaps JD and Gase are not telling us what the main issue with Bell is. Yeah I get he wasn’t productive but he wasn’t a complete trash. There has to be more to the story.

I don't believe the bold for one minute. If I did, I'd already be gone. I urge you to hold on until the season's over. If it helps, don't watch the games, don't read or post here, do whatever you have to do to keep any semblance of hope alive. Then if Gase isn't fired when the season is over, then bail on this team, because if he isn't fired, then there is no hope for this team, because either Douglas won't be making the decisions or he will be proven to be part of the problem, and if perhaps the best qualified GM we've ever had is incompetent and part of the problem, then the Jets will never get anything right.

You're right about Bell, and I agree.

I hope you're right about Gase being gone in 4 more weeks at most, but I don't expect to see Gase fired before the end of the season.

That likely isn't going to happen during the season. There may be some explanation following the season when Gase is hopefully fired, but I wouldn't expect Douglas to give away details that would hurt his efforts in FA and the draft, and unless there is a change in the org chart and Douglas is put in charge of the team and is able to hire the next HC, there's no hope for this team anyway.

That is solely on 3 individuals: Mac, C. Johnson, and Gase.
