I'm pretty sure there isn't anybody who thinks that Gase will be coaching the team next year, or wants it either. He might not be the worst coach in history as some have said, but he's clearly not the guy to bring the team to the Promized Land. The only questions are (1) Will he be fired Friday morning, and (2) Is Darnold the guy anyway? My answers are yes and at best 50/50.
What if Trevor pulls an Eli Manning and just flat out refuses to play for this dumpster fire if a franchise? Who could really blame him? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wonder if every player in the NFL sees their schedule in August and say “Yes!”, when they see the name NY Jets on there.
Jets have their 2 starting Left Tackles out and Sam is running for his life - Jets are the only team that have a deja-vu in their game plan.
At least Sam is winging the ball around. Rather see a fighting chance than punting on 3rd and 9 with a throw to the flat.
Because he wasn’t going to sign for more than the 1 year he signed for. He came here to rehab and was insurance against not being able to draft a qb in the 2018 draft. Once we drafted a qb he was done here.
