Hopefully we make a few stops with Maye and QW continue to impress On offense some more first downs and get past 50 Yd line (too funny) Those are my realistic expectations...the play calling will continue to suck at same old same old Gase Winning? TBH This is a scrimmage for the Colts
Call me a fake fan or whatever else you want, I hope this team loses 45-0 and gets utterly humiliated every single game until Gase is fired. My only hope is that Sam doesn't implode in the process.
So he goes 30-40 for 350 yards, but there's a turnover in the red zone or a missed FG on every drive?
Honestly, if he plays like he did on Sunday vs the 49ers then it's cool. He was clearly hamstrung by a conservative gameplan that had no adjustments after Bosa and Thomas went down in the 1st half. No passes were thrown 20+. This team just needs to be absolutely humiliated every week, I just hope Sam isn't the one humiliating them.
Saw that the Jets are 9.5 pts underdog and few have 10.5. The bookies are starting to make strong case the Jets being one of the worst teams. I say we finally make a game out of it and keep it under double digits.
Do we get Mims and Bell back for Week 4 or 5? Crowder coming back will help maybe generate some first half points, of course Perriman is out now though. Our skill position players are total trash. Where is Ryan Griffin after last season?
When Griffin himself essentially said he didn't know if he would ever be the same, that was a bad sign.
Our genius head coach's refusal to play two TE sets probably factors into this as well. And you know, it kind of makes sense that Gase wouldn't want two pass-catching TEs on the field because we need to make sure Trevon Wesco is out there to block for Josh Malone's 3rd and 7 bubble screen.
With a late game I worry and fret waiting for the game. During the game I try to drink myself into oblivion. After the game I spend the time wondering why God cursed us and will will Gase be fired. I can't wait for Sunday..
So who suddenly starts supporting them btw? Or do folks that say support other teams but live in the area go and watch the game like we are expected to do at Wembley? Seems strange to me as soccer is a loyalty thing more than anything. We have only had one franchised team in Milton Keynes Dons who were Wimbledon who then reformed as AFC Wimbledon and started in lower league football but amazingly are now a football league club again.
He called plenty of 2 te sets he just kept them in for protection. Even after bosa went out which makes no sense. Griffin got 25 snaps and 0 targets. Hard to explain that when you dress 4 wide outs
The Colts lost to the Jaguars. Who were supposed to be tanking for Trevor Lawrence but now feel they have a franchise QB in Gardner Minshew. So now the Jets are instead tanking for Trevor Lawrence because their fans no longer believe in their actual franchise QB in Sam Darnold? I think the +10.5 spread is ridiculous and if the Jets don't cover, then Gase really should be fired. I mean Vegas has to think the Jets are truly horrendous to put a spread out like that because the Colts are nothing special and just had key injuries at WR and Safety too.
Colts might be nothing special, but they're well coached and our offense has scored no TD's outside of garbage time.
Supporting the Raiders? What have you been smoking my friend ? My reference was only in regards to the architecture, and beauty of the stadium. The So-Fi stadium is another really nice stadium. We on the other hand, have that boring venue known as Met Life. Unfortunately I still bleed Jet green. However I did see our only championship.
I didn't say you supported them. I asked 'So who suddenly starts supporting them btw?' Maybe you should lay off what you are smoking I thought the rest of my post made it fairly obvious though tbh lol
I don't really see how the Jets don't cover. Rivers doesn't look good this year and we can stop the run and have minus the atrocious 75 yard Mostert run. Gase is also going to start coaching for his job. I think the heat is on more than people think. The 10.5 is massive disrespect and is likely going to move up another point or two before kickoff. We are a disgrace if we don't cover that.
We only jus covered it V the Bills and we all know we shouldn't have and 18 points V 49ers. The bookies have given you a tempter if you think it is a disgrace we don't cover that, I wouldn't bet against it with free money.
