    I agree. It's brutal. But the quarterback needs to throw the ball past the marker.

    Why isn't the receiver past the marker and/or why isn't such a play being called ?

    There were at least two receivers beyond the marker. It was a slant/out rub route. Why Sam is throwing it a yard behind the LOS is beyond me.
