I just wanted to let you know that dog in you avatar looks very punchable. Anyways we should give this garbage a rest. We have our new coach and so far he has done a good job. That should be all that matters.

 

Actually last year we went for it 19 times on 4th down, this year 15 with 2 games remaining.

 

That is a crappy stat. I bet we were in less need to go for it on 4th than last year. When you play from behind, you have to go for it. When bad play calls don't get you a first down( 3rd and 10 draw plays) you have to go for it.

No one can argue some of your points. Chad is healthy and the Quarter back play usually determines what shape your teams in, but Herm Edwards was very conservative and you could call the plays at your local pub from your seat. Eric Mangini is taking risks and going for it ; a lot more times then any coach we've had. We have been competitive in all our games except 3 now. This all taken into account that we are a baby in terms of team continuity and Jellness (Like that I just made that up). Herm inherited a bad salary cap not a bad team. Take it from me we will see another rant out of herm before the season's over. From Mangini we will see a smile. (Maybe another hug from D-rob). Coach of the Year Eric Mangini.

Look at the top 10 teams that go for it on 4th this year, Only 2 of them have winning records: NE and NYJ

And if you're theory is correct, why is KC 24th in the NFL on 4th down attempts?
