Some simple goals to shoot for in this game include getting a first down in the first quarter, advancing past midfield in the first half and not getting shut out overall. Optimistic prediction: 42-7 SF Realistic prediction: 45-0 SF
I would feel more confident if San Francisco actually won today. Them losing will make them desperate and play even harder. Not good for the Jets. I also would feel more confident if the Jets were not a terrible team.
Well, look on the bright side, the Covid restrictions means there's a good reason for there to be no Jets fans in the stadium.
This game feels somewhat bittersweet for me. This is the game that I had circled around to come and see live at the MetLife this year. Luckily we hadn't made the reservations for the trip yet at the time. Hopefully the situation is back to normal a year from now. As far as the game goes, after yesterday I can't see us getting a W against the 9ers if we play anywhere near as bad as we did against Bills. Big improvements are needed from both sides of the ball to get anything from this game. Obviously so close to the game yet, the feelings are really pessimistic about the season, but as the week goes by the optimist in me starts hoping again and at game time the glass that is empty right now will pour over again And the cycle just keeps on going...
At least we will get to watch one team that is creative on offense. The presnap motion and misdirection is beautiful to watch. Maybe Gase can get his little black book out and take notes..
Can Denzel Mims play? That’s all I care about honestly. We draft players and they all disappear and are then eventually cut or traded.
