Awesome. I am now part of an exclusive club! Hey, let's set up a FB debate thread. You vs. me. We can hash it out. I mean you should easily win because your football knowledge is far superior to any other person on TGG...You are probably more knowledgeable than anyone on the internet.
Ha what about all my Herm must go posts? What about all my Woody was not very smart hiring Herm posts. OTH what have you posted nothing but defending Herm & Woody so whose posts were way more on target?
I gotta admit, this comment made me laugh out loud. In some way, Champ makes me laugh. I dunno why, he annoys me with his attitude, but still makes me laugh.
He didn't hire him, Bradway hired him and woody hired Bradway after BP recommended him. Again i like you Champ but you never post anything interesting or informative but you do make me laugh from time to time.
Same goes for you even though outside of defending Herm you contribute zero here IMHO. You must not understand business I guess from your post as Woody is Bways BOSS so before actuallly hiring Herm he had to run it pass Woody.
Most posters on here have an opinion about me one way or the other but I doubt any would say I contribute zero.
Aren't we all just in the Christmas spirit! Champ you just have some vendetta towards junc. He's a quality poster, and is argumentative. But I will never see the day when junc goes up against you, 3rd&15, FTC, whoever...And the loser admit he lost the argument... It is entertaining though.
Hey, I'm optimistic too about this team, I just think it's a little early to talk about discarding the "same old Jets" label. I've been fooled too many times before. If we beat the Dolphins and Raiders, which I think we will, then I'll proclaim that we are not the "same old Jets", and that our future is much brighter than the Carroll, Groh, or Herm Jets. But right now, we haven't won anything under Mangini. I can't wait for the game monday night, to see how well-prepared we are against Miami. This is a great chance for Mangini to prove that he can handle a pressure-packed, prime time playoff-type game... :jets:
This is important. All week long, everyone talks of Pennington, and if he can handle it. But then they surmise that "the most important matchup" is Taylor vs. Ferguson. You correctly point out that the most important matchup is Mangini vs. Saban. Prime Time... MNF... Christmas night, no less... you won't find more pressure than that on a 1st-year coach. I'm anxious to see how our new coach and his staff fare against a more experienced CS, particularly under the lights. I think Mangini & Company will do just fine.
I think they (the coaches) have been preparing for this game all season long, knowing that one team will have everthing on the line, the match played into our favor so far...we will see who can outshine the other in the spotlight
Shucks he was just proven WRONG when he accused me of not watching the NYJ games even though I have posted many, many times to him that I pay for 2 DTVs converters so I can watch the NYJs on one TV & another game of my choosing on another TV. Also his contribution to the board was only his love for Herm & defense of him. All else he posts are stats that you can get anywhere if that is what you are looking for
