NO beating the Jets won't be my superbowl. BUt I will take some satisfaction in ending the Jets season again. (I Pray this game means everything to Jets) YEa IT probably would suck IF the Jets won. (Even though its not much of a bet, don't want to have to pay up IF raiders lose- more pride factor. I really don't see that happening. JETS Oline going to have some serious problemswith raiders Dline. LDE D Burgess Versus RT A Clement LDT T Sands is a hugh guy with quickness RDT W Sapp and RDe Tom Kelly(probably going to play DT ) But would love for him to go against DBrickshaw ferguson at RDE . Hes too big an strong for Dbrick and would have a field day against him. Also Jets would not be able to run outside to that side. T Brayton( Raiders starter) at RDe , D Brickshaw Ferguson will embarrass . I wouldn't mind see more of Kevin Huntley(has been coming on)take a crack at Dbrickshaw Ferguson) instead of Brayton. TB Brayton is raider biggest weak spot oh defense.

Raiders cbs will take Jets Wrs man to man. Good luck M Huff will take any of your Tes you want to send out in pattern. and Thomas Howard(Might be fastest LB in football) was downright impressive covering L tomlinson out of backfield a couple weeks ago(look like a cb in coverage) willpick up any of your RBs.

You've still got to explain how the Raiders are going to score any points.

Jeaux, if you're praying that this game means everything to the Jets, the you'll get more than 'some' satisfaction in a win over the Jets. But, if for some reason the Jets should earn a playoff berth with a win over Oakland in week 17, jeaux, I must again take a virtual dump in your mouth.

By the way, it looks like that 12-step program worked for your stat obsession.

Iv'e never been so sure of the Jets beating anyone all year.

There is no possible way the Raiders are coming here and beating the Jets. You don't even have your black hole crap hole friends cheering them on.

    Don't be foolish.

Not even the raiderjoe can make it sound like the raiders offense can score any points.

shouldnt this idiot be rooting agianst the Raiders for the Brady Quinn Sweepstakes. It looks like they will get 2nd anyways. Dont tell me you want to draft a Wr that high? wooops I guess the Randy Moss trade isnt working after all.
Raider fans have to be the dumbest fans of all sports? Redskins and Eagles fans are a close second.

I will admit raiders have really struggled against 3-4 this year.
YEs Here it is . First they should be getting some of their Olineman back for that game , that will help. Second Raiders will be playing WRS that are going to give 100%.(won't see R Moss or J Porter most likely done for season) R Curry , D Gabriel and two youngsters J Morant 6'4 225 and Will Buchanon 6'3 185- the fastest player on Usc last year and was real impressive in preseason. Third Raiders three TE formation OF Randal williams, C Anderson and J Madsen 6'5 230) is going to cause matchuip problems for Jets. They are too fast for Lbs and too tall for Cbs. (problem is two of those three hands are questionable- will they catch it or protect football)
Four- Raiders offense just has to protect the football. No Turnovwers and there defense is good enough to win this game.

This is what I would do on offense . Play four WR sets. J Morant 6'4 220 and D Gabrile 6'2 215 outside with R Curry6'2 215(Raiders best WR) and John madson 6'5 230 (Ed MCcafrey clone) inside with J Fargas as the lone back. With AWalter/A brooks as the QB. First off it woulkd force Jets to play more nickel defense and you do you have four capable Cbs that can cover raiders Wrs.

HAH, Jeaux! You're like one of those Japanese soldiers that was left on his own island after the war, and never knew it ended.

The best indicator of who the Raider's defense is? Look at rankings for passing and rushing defense. Top two passing defenses? Indianapolis and, well, YOU. By a mile. And that probably sounds real swell; except when you move to the list of rushing defenses, and you're BOTH taking it in the can. Indianapolis is last, and you guys are lucky enough to have climbed up into the high 20's. Your time of possession on defense, likewise - blows. It blows HARD. Take into account also that Indianapolis and the Raiders both have the fewest passing attempts against them.

So, your amazing defensive line, and this exciting defensive backfield, what do these numbers tell us about them, hmmm? They tell us that the Raiders are getting STEAMROLLED on the ground, that teams don't need to pass against you, and that they're generally scoring at the end of these drives.

And how's that all working out for you?

"T. Kelly and F. Washington with m.Huff, he runs a 4.35. The defense is great, W. Sapp, and D. Burgess, along with K.Morrison." Yadda yadda.

Bro, what is the deal with putting the 1st initial ahead of every players name?

You spew so much bullshit on this board it isn't even funny anymore, the act is old man. Maybe A. Shell can get his head out of his ass. And A.Davis takes over as head coach.

Your football team is trash. Yes the Raider defense is good, i'll give you that, but stop talking as if they're the 2000 Ravens.

i really dont know why were talking about oakland. first things first, we play miami this week. and almost as important, its monday night football against HATED rivals. what more could you ask for in this situation as a fan? maybe a new england win, and thats about it. come on everybody... lets really think about whats goin on and realize how fun watching this game is going to be.

as for the game, the most important thing is that chads on his game and that we pass to set up a decent run game like we've been doing. get the ball in coles hands when possible, look for mccareins deep as he gets overlooked in the defensive gameplan, and look for what could be our new reliable third down guy in cotchery when coles isnt open. on the other side of the ball, as long as the run defense holds like it did last week, the key is harrington. begin the game either pressuring the hell out of him or confusing him with different looks as often as possible. after getting benched last week, and with only two games left in the season and miami going nowhere, hes going to want to make a statement for himself for next season. this means he may try and do too much on plays, and the d cant let him be successful early to help his confidence. throw him off early and get him playing catchup, and this game is ours.
