I used to think Cimini was bad until Manish took his job at the DN. Manish is immature, unethical, not trustworthy and self promoting but occasionally he gets things right. Manish is right about Gase and his insecurities even though Manish was completely wrong as he started as a Gase cheerleader. sadly, I listen to Manish's off-season podcasts. They are mostly awful, full of nothing and self serving but occasionally there is a nugget there. I don't like Cimini at all but I can respect the volume of work he puts out and the information he provides but Manish is 95% a waste. But, occasionally he gives us something good or provides some good insight. last year prior to camp he he actually did a very good and informative podcast rather than his normal spam. I do applaud Manish for confronting and busting Gase on his twitter burner account. I give him credit here as very few reporters would have the courage to have done that but then again very few reporters make a career out of being such an As@. All in all Manish is just a very sad and flawed person. I almost feel sorry for him. In regards to Manish vs. Gase, Manish will likely win and be here much longer than Gase. Maybe, we need a fire Manish billboard too or one billboard with three messages: Sell the team Woody, fire Gase and DN Fire Mehta. Now that I would send money for.
Sometimes I get the feeling Manish is just lazy and does his 'reporting' with 'un-named sources' from his mom's basement.
While it is possible it also possible to win the lottery unfortunatelyfor your opinion the odds are about the same. Look at the facts: 1. The account was posted with Gase praise all year. 2. the account bashed players Gase did not like Bell. 3. The account only posted when Gase was not in practice or in team activities. 4. The account as associated with new jets email address. To believe it was Mehta you would have to believe he planned this, that he spent countless hours throughout the year faking this account, that he painstakingly watched Gase's schedule without error and for what? What is the payoff for that tremendous amount of work? To ask if you have a burner account? There is no payoff. From listening to countless Mehta podcasts it is fairly obvious Mehta is not smart enough to do this without making mistakes on Gase's schedule and he is too lazy to put all this work in for no payoff. Rather the obvious solution and simple solution here is correct. Gase was known at Miami and now in New York as the most insecure man who has ever lived. A man who spends all his energy trying to prove to everyone how smart he is. Only someone who is deluding themselves believes that the burner account is not Gase's account. I understand the Mehta hate. He is well deserving of being hated. But, simply hating him does not make it his account. It would be nice to bust him or show him up to be the fool but he already does that to himself all the time. There is little dispute here. the account was and is Gase's account. Simply hating Mehta does not mean we should ignore all evidence and the evidence is very strongly against Gase.
