I don't like Brooks either but there aren't many other QB's you can claim are THAT much better than him out in the market. You could say Drew Brees, but he isn't what I would call a stop gap VET.

starting chad pennington after all those arm injuries is like starting a running back with a peg leg, it just doesnt make sense. I say if he doesnt take the pay cut, hes gone and we should find a new QB, whether it be Aaron Brooks or a drafted QB. personally, i like aaron Brooks, i tihnk hes a good QB and wouldnt do bad on the jets Mark my words, going into next season planning on starting Chad would be a big mistake
