Odds are pretty good he winds up on the Aaron Rodgers plan: dominant until he gets his big deal and then a big name with no big wins afterwards.
I think both of those examples are horrible. The Packers have done nothing to help Rodgers at all And it has nothing to do with his contract. They have drafted horribly since paying Rodgers. Brees has had the best roster in football for multiple seasons after winning his first ring. They got absolutely screwed against the Rams and then The miracle in Minneapolis. Both of those years NOLA was the best team in football. It’s a shame he doesn’t have more rings, but it has nothing to do with His contract.
I think Jerry Jones would've bit for just a first at the deadline. I was screaming to trade him back then and got tarred and feathered for it. The rumor is Joe D. wouldn't take less than a first and two seconds. Which would be a haul in of itself for a safety who doesn't pick balls off.
The thing is, there stance SHOULD change. Who wants to pay an unprofessional and embarrassing player like Adams that kind of money? I don't. He has handled this as poorly as possible. He is truly the most unlikeable star Jet in my lifetime, ahead of Revis now. And the worst part is we all saw this coming. I don't know what Joe should do with him now. I still say don't trade him because he does not deserve to get what he wants, but I want to do what is best for the Jets. You know, the team we care 100% about, and Adams cares 0% about.
I gotta say between the greedy MLB players and this idiot ... peace out scumbag. EVERY league in europe is playing and I'm loving it ... this country is so outta wack
Teams he would WELCOME a trade to??? This dude needs to wake up, he's got zero leverage and is looking more and more like a petulant child with each passing minute.
October 31st Nov. 17th Sorry just need to bask in this one for a minute. Man I wish we did so. Jamal Adams listed a bunch of teams he'd go to... With absolutely zero player leverage at all.
There must be some team will offer a similar haul to what Mack fetched. If it happens, I'll drive Jamal to his new city.
He is honestly embarrassing. He must live in fantasy land where he is the king. And he has no one around him to give him good advice it seems. Sad. I feel a little bad for him, but not too much.
No you won't. Because we need him to get there safely. And I'm sure if it's any further than Philadelphia you'll drive off a bridge after hearing for 9 hours about how great he is.
Has Mike Maccagnan found another NFL job yet? Maybe he could take him off our hands for a kings ransom.
I wouldn't take OBJ for free. The ultimate cancer in the clubhouse - that's the kind of player you try to get rid of if you want to be a winning team.
