OK, I am no pessimist but I want to know who is.

Can they pull it out on Christmas? Of course they CAN but WILL they?

    What does your heart say?

I feel like they are pulling me in just so that it will hurt more. Okay, maybe I am a bit of a pessimist.

You are not a true Jets fans if somewhere deep inside you don't feel your heart will be broken by this team. But just like every year I think this year it will be different.

So yes I think they are gonna win this one and come back home & demolish the Raiders New Years Eve. It is shaping up to be one hell of a New Years party at the Meadowlands.

I have to go with yes. The masochist in me keeps wanting to set myself up for more heartache.

hard to say. Either way, it should be a close game.

Trying to predict games in the NFL has become a near impossibility, never mind divisional matchups. Obviously my heart says the Jets will win but there's always that voice in the back of your head saying "they're going to screw it up again".

I think that probably sums up how many of us long time Jet fans feel...

Things are still "raw" this year. We've come a long way but we still need talent in some areas to be a real contender.

Nothing is a better reminder than the recent Buffalo game. We knew we had to win it to control our own destiny and didn't do it... at home no less. Of course, the Bills also destroyed the Dolphins this past weekend, so maybe it's a case of the Bills coming on real strong... stronger than the Jets or the Dolphins. I think we can get it done though. Chad needs to maintain composure...

Buffalo Beat Jax. They also played Indy and San Diego real tight.

I hate to say it but Buffalo is playing their butts off right now.

Oh, no question. In fact, if they had played all season the way they've played recently, they'd be on top of the AFC East and NE would be the one scratching for a wild card birth.

Maybe I’m wrong but this is the second time you have pumped buffalo's play of late and it’s a little confusing, your a jets fan right? I thought this was a GLENNFOLEY post for a minuet. We will win. Ronnie brown runs for maybe 80 yards we force Joey to throw it and the defense steps up with some scoring of their own. 24-17 JETS

What's confusing to you? Since the bye Buffalo is 5-2 with the 2 losses being a 1 point loss to the Colts and a 3 point loss to the Chargers. They've been playing excellent football lately.

Beating the Dolphins in Miami on christmas night will be a tall order folks. We can do it, but we'll need Good Chad to show up and our game planning has to be aggressive on both sides of the ball.

We need to play like there's no tomorrow on Christmas night.
To coin a line from Kelly's Heroes: "Even the gravediggers are in this fight.."

I agree. Conservative playcalling won't get it done. Miami has NOTHING to play for except pride and next year's job on the roster, which is ALWAYS a dangerous combination. They'll be loose and taking chances and their playcalling will even reflect that, so this is no picnic for Sutton and Schottenheimer to plan against.

Penny needs to establish HIS game and burn their blitzes enough to make them look foolish and to get an early lead. I think we'll need to establish the pass again in order to run the ball, like we did in Minnesota. It can be done, but the O-line has to really show up for this game.

I think I just got accused of Being a Buffalo Bills Fan!

I don't remember the first time I said good things about buffalo but it may have happened.

I'm sorry but the Bills whipped our butts and they look like a good team. Sorry for stating the obvious.

If anything I was trying to say that our loss to Buffalo was not necessarily against a bad team.

Pennington performed under pressure on Sunday by giving the Jets a much needed victory. I think the Jets will be in a better situation on Monday because the Jets can actually run the football on Miami. If the Jets stop Ronnie Brown and/or Sammy Morris, whoever the starting runningback is, the Jets will win.
