Next Monday, how many will turn down the MNF announcers?

The thing is many of us will be too stressed out about the game and not worry about the superfolous things they throw in.

 

I know what you are saying but the media BS bothers the hell out of me and slows the game down.

No.. bad idea.. There is more of a delay on TV than radio and you'll hear the Plays before they happen.

 

How does Theisman have a job, seriously? For a guy who played in the league he says the dumbest stuff. Everytime they shakeup the evening football announcing crew I think that he is finally losing his job but he is always the one that they keep. I just don't get it, is the head of ESPN a 'skins fan?

I don't know a single person who doesn't hate him as an announcer. You suck Joe!!

 

and mathew mcconhey (bad spelling) is in the booth.. is everyone getting excited..

 

They are unlistenable. Joey and Tony are retarded. Tony never talks about the game, reminds me of Dennis Miller.

 

How can the Colts need the game more when they have already clinched a playoff spot.

 

Theisman makes me want to jam icepicks in my ears.

 

They want home field....

MM will be there promoting the movie "We Are Marshall," i am sure. it comes out this friday. Kind of appropiate since CP is from Marshall. heck, MM probably knows more football that some of those guys in the booth (TK). Will probably have to listen to his texas longhorn stories though-yeech.

 

Thats actually a reason I would want to play the Colts. Pennington is so much better in domes

 

I live in Atlanta and I am sick of listening to the games on the radio, I don't care who's on or who says what, I'll just be happy to watch the game for once this season

 

completely disagree. NFL network, in my opinion, does by far the best job out of all the stations. Gumble can be distracting at times, but collinsworth is good, and marshall faulk is great. I absolutely love dick vermiel in the booth, the guy gives great insight into the game and the players.

 

Special guest in the booth will probably be Clay Aiken or some other dolt...

Whats the difference, they are all the same...the fox announcers arent that bad...if Joe Buck isnt there, but CBS is awful...did any of you watch the game vs the vikings, they got atleast 5 names wrong including:

Greg Ellis (aka Shaun Ellis)...its ridiculous. I could see if it was like a 3rd stringer who got thrown in there but eliis has been a name for quite a few years...

i also believe that idiot dierforf said brad pennington too.

 

With the dynamic duo of Theisman and Maguire broken up the MNF team is easily the worst in the business. None of them ever shut their mouths, and Tirico and Kornheiser rarely even discuss football or the game going on. I don't know whether that's better or worse then Theisman and his consistently wrong analysis of what's going on.

The NFL Network crew doesn't even come close to these guys awfulness. Gumbel has a terrible voice but his worst crime is being a boring drone and you can pretty safely tune him out, while Collinsworth does a good job. The MNF crew is loud and constantly steps all over the game.
