He's already stocked the OL so he has options. I can see him going with one of the bluechip WR coming out.
My question is, has our GM done enough to address our O-line to date; thus allowing us to use our first round pick to draft Jeudy or Lamb?
Remember when WarriorRB wanted to give him 15/16 million a year? Lmao where did that Market go? With that said, I would have kept him at 10.
I totally disagree. I want no part of Funchess. His hands/concentration suck. All he has going for him is that he is big/tall.
My favorite WR Robby is way better than your favorite Herndon who's either hurt or suspended two years running but yet want to try and mock me over Robby? Disgusting. And lol @ all you Jet fans now crying and complaining over us losing Robby to FA but yet as a Jet received little support but now you guys are all butthurt? Typical SOJFans strike yet again.
We did didn't we and he turned it down, does this then show a hard edge to JD, turn us down once then go fuck yourself?
Everyone knows how much I want Jeudy out of the SEC however I do not think Jeudy makes it to 11 and out of the top 10 and a WR starved team with trade up in front of the Jets and land CeeDee Lamb too.
Wrong. Don't be a liar. Complete meltdown with CeeDee Lamb? How so. I've raved about Lamb since this past NCAA season and would love either Jeudy/Lamb (in that order).
I don’t think its about having a hard edge, it’s about value and not overpaying for any tier 2 player. The only players that will get top tier money from Joe are elite game changing talented players, good players will get a fair offer but that’s it.
I would wager Gase and co didn’t like him to the point that they would pay him that much. So they gave him a low ball offer. If he took it great they got a decent player on the cheap. If not, they can now move on.
Simple - JD and Gase didn't want him. How much did Gase utilize him? Do you expect that to change? He was no longer a fit for the Jets.
He must have realized his head coach was Adam Gase and he left. Being that so many guys are turning away our offers because of Gase
Funny, I missed "all the Jets fans crying and complaining" here. Maybe I have a different language version of the forum.
That wasn't the question asked or replied to though, it was "10m is cheap why didn't we offer him that" and I said I thought we did and he turned it down and JD hasn't gone back and said here is the offer again, then again maybe he did and Robby fucked us off anyway?
I think Anderson had a big problem that could better be utilized elsewhere: he was a one dimensional wide receiver. He was fast. His job was to run a go route and that's about it. Why would Douglas pay a WR who is only good at deep routes, $10 million a year? It sucks to lose a weapon on offense, but he was not some versatile #1 WR talent. He was not worth $10 million on a roster that needs a lot more talent in general
Probably the most pertinent point, he was underused by the last 3 OC's it was never going to change, I am dreading this season under Gase tbh it feels like we are about to waste another year, there were some good things but still an awful lot of bad playcalling imo.
