Just about a year ago the rumors began that Herm was saying by-by to the Big Apple & moving onto the hi powered Chiefs. That was out 1st gift when the rumors became true & he finally departed for what he thought was far geener pastures in KC. His departure brought in a new regime of Man & Tan which appears to have a vision & plan for the future which we should consider this years Xmas present
The only thing I want from the Jets on Chrismtas is a W over the miami dolphins. Those overrated fish have got to go down. No more division losses!
But we aren't going to win the SB this year, isn't that all that is important to you? So w/ that being the case they are failures in your eyes.
Those overrated Dolphins shut out the Pats and beat the Bears by 18 in their building. I'm not even sure we should be favored in this game.

Some day hopefully the lite bulb will go on in your head concerning Herm. He IMHO NEVER/EVER had the ability to win us a SB. So NO HOPE under him to ever be CHAMPIONs. Now Man/Tan have PROMISE & again IMHO there now is HOPE that there maybe a CHAMPIONSHIP in our future in the forseeabke future.
Your thing was a season is a success if we win the SB and nothing else. Why is it ok now not to win the SB? Hope is a bad answer, I have hope now and had it w/ Herm. the bottom line is we will not win a title this year and to you that is everything.
I never was a Herm hater except for clock management and not giving Jordan carries. And I still think he did okay here and he will prove himself as time goes on in KC. But Mangini is special and I feel one year he will lead us to the promised land. Hopefully it will be with #10 at QB!
actually he (lemon) look pretty good yesterday....considering. Its gonna be a dog fight no matter who's @ QB for the phins....bottom line protect chad and limit turnovers.....and we have a sweep and a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
I agree. Miami overrated? We should be the dogs. Miami's most recent game against the Patriots was downright scary. Also, you're playing this team in their house on nationwide TV with millions of viewers and they have absolutely nothing to lose at this point, an even scarier dimension, IMO. Very tough game, fellas, and a real test of what the Jets are made of. Our gameplan is going to have to be fast and loose (because that's the intensity Miami will bring) and it even needs to involve some high-risk shots. Conservative play-calling will lose this game because Miami will be taking plenty of risks and playing loose. Our Ace In The Hole and deciding factor: Mike Nugent
I can't see the Jets being competitive in this game. I suspect it will go down a lot like the game vs Buggalo.
