I said maybe.... Still D-Rob is playing so good right now. He's been unstoppable ever since we came off of our bye week.
What, no HackettStillSux around to bag on DRob this week? Oh, that's right. He's tending to the diaper patrol.
gotta eat my crow.. d rob has been play exceptional since the bye week. im enjoying seeing him do the slapping around for change.
No it doesn't. Kyle has played and been productive for more than 10 years. He may not have been as good as everyone was claiming when he came out of college but a 10 year vet can't be considered a bust.
i like dewayne alot he's developing into a very good player this year.....as for his backup, cj mosely, i noticed him a few times in limited action last week, and today he seemed to be pretty disruptive and had a sack.....i like what is see in him so far too, hopefully he an keep improving
Our defense goes as D-Rob goes. If he's in the back feild making plays our defense rock. Our Linebackers were as livley today as I've seen them since the San Diego play off win. I think that has alot to do with how dominant D-Rob was.
I wonder how he'd function as a 3/4 end. He's a LOT faster than I ever thought and might be able to play an end position. If we can get a legit NT, we could have Ellis and D-Rob at the ends. That'd be a devastating combo. However, its going to be tough as hell to find a legit nose tackle. We have to realize this is Year 1 in the system- give Mangini another draft and an offseason and we are almost guaranteed to get better. We are young on D so this unit still has massive room for growth.
Brady's had a far more productive career than Leaf. Brady has been a pretty useful TE over the last 10 years, Leaf was awful and out of the league after three seasons.
Brady was an o.k. TE while Leaf was never any good. Brady is just remembered as a bust because he was a terrible pick at the time and because he never lived up to the hype.
Yeah, Brady was a bust for US, but not in general. Anyway, Robertson played his ass off yesterday and it showed on the scoreboard, a tearjerking performance really I root for the guy every week, because I know he has the brute strength, and he sure seems to put forth the effort... must be his skill and finesse steadily improving via quality coaching (FINALLY). It's nice to see.
I had the confidence in him although it grew shaky for a few weeks before the bye. He just has natural talent. When hes playing good he just imposes his will upon lineman. And I loved the tackle he made early in the game, coming off his block to wrap up the RB as he ran by.
