Chiefs made it to Superbowl for the first time after 50+ years. When will Jets do the same?

When the Jets can actually have 10 years of non-shitty drafts. That'd be a good start. How about when the Jets can have exciting elite players on both sides of the ball? When was the last time we had that?

Or he did and the offensive line/a 2 year break from football prevented him from having any sort of success.

But let us continue to act that LeVeon is some sort of elite talent.

True. But there's a few things to take into consideration. First, after the tough years of the 70s and early 80s, the Chiefs have remained relevant most years with very few long playoff droughts. The Jets' have only made the playoffs in consecutive years 4 times, and never more than two seasons. Second, the Chiefs have drafted well overall AND put the heaviest stock in the most high impact positions. The Chiefs have also won multiple division titles while the Jets have only 2 in the past 51 years.

I'll say this: The Chiefs are obviously not the model franchise to follow. They stuck with Marty for WAY too long, and they hired that nut Todd Haley just before Reid. The fact that this is their first Super Bowl since SB IV proves that. I was contrasting the passion of the Hunt family compared to the Johnsons. The Hunts, despite their frustrations, have an identity in football and are at least striving for success, whereas the Johnsons seem to see the Jets as just another investment, and they don't care about how successful the team is so long as they aren't losing money.

If you hold your breath too long you'll die faster. I'm just trying to help.

I didn't mean that to come off wrong like I was telling you to kill yourself. I'm just saying if you're looking to be kind to yourself, mercy killing . . . Oh, nevermind.

Worm food, a Britishism. Pop one's clogs, haha, I always thought that was a hoot. Come to a sticky end. Got to hand it to the British. Oh, my, that's full of Incidental Word Play, isn't it.

I hate death euphemisms. They're so flowery and sometimes undeserved, especially when some POS person croaks people will still say 'passed away.' Funny the word 'died' is USUALLY reserved for criminals mostly i.e., "Charles Manson has died"; but dead is dead, am I right? I love black humor (my favorite), though. Bought the farm, kick the pail, haha, I had a friend who was Polish and they'd say 'kick the calendar'. There's something hilarious about that, I'm not sure what. Maybe because it made me think of that old game show 'Beat the Clock'. What was this about again? The Jets making it to the Super Bowl again. Right. I'll be in a wheel chair spinning around aimlessly with a blanket over my lap by the time that happens. In fact, it's chilly in here. Be a dear and get my chenille.

None!! And actually didnt throw a pass in the fourth quarter.... Namath at that time called his own plays Like most quarterbacks did during that Era.... The team was winning and he wanted to use the Clock something the Atlanta Falcons should’ve done against the patriots......my father was a big Fan....I remember as a kid always talking about the guy with the white shoes he and I watched That game together it’s one of my lasting memories of my father....
