    A really well orchastrated first half by Mangini and the Jets. Its amazing when Chad is on,Chad is one of the best qb's in the league. Hopefully the come out in the second half on all cylinders

    The key for a kicker is the 35-50 yarder with the team down 2 and a last-second kick that wins or loses the game.

    Actually, longer FG's to win a game are LESS PRESSURE because you aren't expected to make it (John Hall said he felt no pressure to kick that 51-yarder in the snow in 2001 to beat Oakland and make the playfoffs because he felt it was a super-tough kick).

    Let's see how Nugent does when the Jets are a good team, playing a meaningful game late in the season or a playoff game, down 2 points, going for a FG within 48 yards that isn't a chippie.

    Then we'll know what we have.

    I seen the first half at Tennesee and listin to the Jets on Radio. Titans still have a good shot, they're neck and neck, and I must say, Jax are lucky that this Vince Young is still raw...

    He made big kicks in huge games at Ohio State and kicked well in bad weather. Being an outdoor northeast team that just lost a playoff game because of the kicker, I thought it was a good pick. Kickers win and lose games, as trivial as they seem.

    Ok, he didn't kick in the play offs , but I have more confidence in him now. He nails long FG instead of kicking XP just inches inside of the goal post
