I said on Twitter that he put an enormous amount of pressure on himself by shooting off his mouth. He thinks he’s the MVP of the league or something. Kid just talks way too much for his own good. He’s got to knock it off with all the social media bullshit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
And this is why if you're shopping a guy, you trade him. Common sense here. It's too early and I hate to even say it, but Joe Douglas sucks so far.
He did but Adams doesn't want to believe that. It's just an excuse so he can further whine his way out of town, it wouldn't shock me if he did actually ask for a trade.
Is there really a difference? Regardless of who was doing the shopping, it's pretty clear the talks between Douglas and the Cowboys were serious. At that point, considering the Jets are also a bad team period, you're gonna piss the player off. Smarter players would keep quiet about it and not spout off on Twitter, but they aren't going to be happy. And it's unlikely you'll get a better return down the road, or that you'll get the player to re-sign.
Jamal Adams was bad. Maybe less bitching on Twitter and more focusing on coverage assignments, Jamal.
That 4th and 1 play where he jumped over the line and latched onto Jones back like a spider was Troy polamalu type stuff. Not even Revis had energy like that. Jets need to cultivate that energy and whatever this shit franchise does..... they need to PAY THAT MAN and keep him on this team. I need me an adams jersey PS. Adam Gase is still a terrible coach PPS. If this front office was competent enough to have a kicker on the roster for week 1 we would have 3 wins (unacceptable) PPPS. Mosley is not needed and we should cut him.
Adams had some splash plays today which was good to see...let's not forget the Giants had 4 back up Olineman playing I haven't seen this kinda play vs good teams.
That's the type of difference-maker that a team doesn't take calls on. He took the defense and put it on his back today, we need to see that more.
Not really. Barring injury *crosses fingers* I think it's safe to say Adams will be good for a long time. His intangibles are off the charts. His motivations are more than money. He is a player clearly motivated by winning and being the best. Revis as good as he was was clearly motivated by the money and his work ethic was suspect which is why his window for greatness was so small and he looked done in his early 30s.
Mosley is not needed? ROFLMAO!! We should cut him? Spoken like an ignorant fan who knows nothing about the salary cap or about Mosley.
