No idea really. It’s just a thought, heavily injured teams have plagued Gase for his entire HC career. Maybe it is bad luck, but when do we say it isn’t bad luck.
They’ve got 8 on their IR, 9 if you count Talib but they just traded for him. The IR list is probably a little higher than league average, but the 20+ injury report the Jets have right now is definitely one of the, if not the highest in the league. I’m not saying there’s an specific correlation between Gase and injured players, but it is an interesting idea to think about.
Over the last 4 years not including this year the league leader in IR is the Saints. The Pats are right in the middle of the league. I agree that there is no correlation but it's an interesting idea if you think the HC bad JuJu and is leading to more injuries.
Maybe the way he runs his practices sucks (in multiple ways) or maybe the strength and conditioning programs he approves and lets them run sucks (not really sure how this one works), but the Jets have a lot of soft tissue injuries and they've been consistently mishandling them by thinking the players can come back earlier than they can (looking at Herndon and Mosley here)
Mosely got hurt covering a buffalo bills player across the middle of the field in a real, live, NFL game. Herndon got hurt at home during his time suspended from the league for substance abuse halloween was a wash out. The kids couldn't even do any trick or treating. Thanks Adam Gase, you asshole
The Herndon and Mosley comment was mostly them putting unrealistic timelines or rushing them back. They said Herndon was going to miss maybe 1-2 games max and he's most likely going to miss this week as well. As for Mosley, who the hell knows? When the injury happened he was questionable for the Browns game then all of a sudden the guy 4 more weeks, and they rush him back way less than 100%.
Nothing better than to segue from Toilet Bowls the previous winner of "cant stand coach of the year" to f@cking Adam Gase ..thanks J &J Fraud Bros!
This will be the most closely watched, meaningless games between 2 of the most inept teams in a while I know I’ll be watching every snap
While there hasn't been much to get excited about Gase so far, he did not takeover a great roster, and there have lots of key injuries and one big illness that hasn't helped the situation.
Stop pretending the roster actually matters. There's an agenda here and it's Gase sucks and should be fired. Get on board or throw some baby powder on your balls.
Lol You’re right. Gase’s career record is great, the only bad year is this year due to a bad roster. The damn Jet fans, and Miami fans just had an agenda...
Dumbcagnan's mess is Gase's fault apparently. Not a Gase fan but wtf was Matt Rhule going to do with this scenario....
Posting one of the guys I follow’s tweet since all four screengrabs would probably be annoying: How was our front office the only group people fucking dumb enough not to see that he’s awful?
