Except Jacksonville's run defense is awful, allowing 4.87 yards a carry. New England one of the, if not the best secondary in the league and does not make any mistakes. No other team in the NFL can run their zero blitz scheme. The Mosley we got last week was not CJ Mosley, he just wasn't healthy. Not having Hewitt will be a big loss, they'll expose Cashman and Copeland who will take that ILB spot.
A lot of the 4.87 ave. was because vs. Carolina. They also faced NO's Kamura. Marcell Dareus is undergoing surgery (their 1st rd. pick Bryant to start). Jax's problem's been gap discipline, not getting run over. With Le'Veon Bell's patient style look for Jags to all the more focus on gap discipline. No other team could run zero blitz schemes? Buffalo and Minny's DBs would allow for it. Niners as well except for the rush they already generate with up front. ILB: whatever, the fact remains: the Jets have holes. Jamal Adams will be pinching more in the box (Fournette)....corners better be on alert.
a couple of first downs and a Field Goal will do it for me...the rest is Gravy>> if Gase and the Jets manage a win (but I doubt it)
The key imo is what defense does in first series. If we can stop them from scoring, then the game should be closed throughout the day and hopefully com out on top. 20-17 Jets
Marrone and Gase could be at the bottom of the list for NFL head coach of the year. Bill Obrien nosed for third...
this could be true but today its just a 2 horse race Marrone vs Gase and I would put my money on the Marrone horse.
Come onnnnnnn!!!!!! ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️ Round of golf this morning ✔️ Watched Celtic win convincingly ✔️ Crisp Autumn walk sporting my Jets hat.. JETS VICTORY....
All that talk and no prediction. Are we winning or not. Stop dancing around the only thing we need to know. Zone blitz, gap blitz, gap schmlitz. Are we winning or not? J-E-T-S will win today. End of rant!
It"s just a coincidence that it seems only the guys making a cr@p ton of money are the ones getting 'injuries'.
I'm not feeling this game at all. What a depressing season this has turned out to be. Maybe the worst I've ever experienced. I'm crossing my fingers that Darnold has a bounce back game if he does I think the Jets have a chance to win.
Not really worried about Sam letting this shit spiral out of control. New England has done that to every QB they played this year.
I shut off the game at halftime on Monday night. Today if they don't bother showing up early I'll shut off the tv even earlier. The Jets/football is a escape for a bit it's supposed to be enjoyable, fun not aggravating or depressing.
I hope jets win not predicting any thing or betting on them anymore every time I do we lose. Sorry guys I think I’m bad luck.from now on my sight is 20/20 I will say who will win after the game is over. Lol
This is the 1st JETS@JAGS games I've missed since 96 so you're prob right...... (They've been blown out everytime aside from the Sanchez-Gabbert slug...err snoozefest in 2012)
Not sure how to call this one...does it really matter? The team and coaching staff was, as usual, over hyped during pre-season and 6 games into the season they are the same disappointing entertainment option. That said I can't root for the Jets to loose. There must be a light at the end of this tunnel. Without our epic tailgate crew I would choose to SELL THE PSL !!! That said...GO JETS!!!!
