I think Douglas is being very smart saying that the Jets have no interest in trading him. Mac was always too eager and announced his willingness to trade, so didn't get as good a deals as he perhaps could have. By stating that the Jets have no interest in trading him, Other teams will have to call the Jets and if they really want him will have to pay more to get him. In the event a trade doesn't happen, Leon won't be disgruntled because the Jets were out shopping him.
