    Yep they just cut Falk and Fales will be the backup,,,,,,,,hope Sam stays upright tomorrow as either way this could get real ugly

    Look at the bright side Simien-Falk produced as many Ws backing up Darnold this season as Uncle Josh did for the Jets last season at least this time it didn't cost them $10 million.

    Apparently.

    Although there are some minimally competent QBs out there right now who could have stepped in and done better. I can't fathom that someone like Brock Osweiller or any of the others like him still available in free agency, is somehow worse than the crap we were just forced to watch for the last month from our QBs. Not saying it would have changed any results or put us in position to beat the Pats, but we might have been able to put something on the field that somehow resembled something of a higher level than junior high school football.

    Personally I feel with the beating Falk took as the sacrificial lamb he earned the payday to be the backup the rest of the year.
    If we signed a legit backup it would be one thing, but does anyone really believe Fales would have looked any better,
