If Chad was on the giants they would have at least 9 wins by now.

He would be a leader in that locker room.

With Barber he would be able to play the play action.

Do you think Chad would not get ripped by Shockey, Tiki and Plax after one of his noodle armed three fumble performances. They would run him out of that place.

Eli is better then Chad. Not even that close. Chad is medicore. You can't compare one guy who throws the ball 50 yards easily to a guy who throws a bunch of 5 yard dump offs on 3 and 10.

You can't name one throw and think the point has been made. Chad is a dump off passer. Eli has a rocket for an arm. It's not even close.

Too bad a football game is not a punt, pass and kick contest.

Too bad a football game wasn't a who can throw the best dying quail pass contest.

Too bad a football game wasn't a "i'm supposed to be this extremely intelligent QB, yet I throw a bad pick every game based on misreading the coverage," contest.

    No?

Easy, my brother-in-law is the same way. He is a fan of NY teams, in any sport. Never asked him who he would want to win when the Jets and Giants play each other, Mets and Yankees, etc. Hmm..

You obviously do not watch Chad, he can make all the throws he needs to make and he has thrown many deep balls through the years but he doesn't just throw it up for fun like Eli.

YES Eli has the better arm, so does Jeff george and Ryan leaf- are they better? Eli has better weapons all around him and plays in a creampuff conference and he amde the playoffs last year thanks to getting an extra home game and he's in the playoffs this year thanks to the NFC being so weak.

this year BOTH QBs have 6 40+ completions and Chad has 29 20+ while Eli has 30. yep what a huge difference thanks to Eli's rocket arm. Chad has a longer long and a higher YPA. Eli also has FOURTY FOUR MORE attempts by the way so the 40+, 20+ and long should be well in Eli's favor and they are not.

 You are right it's not close except you have the guys reversed. Chad is light years ahead of Eli.

Chad doesn't have a rocket but he is accurate and he has more than enough arm strength. W/ all those weapons how many points did eli lead his team to in the playoffs at home last year? Against that same team brooks Bollinger led the Jets to more points on the road and that was a 7 pt game in the 4th qtr.

Just because a guy can throw a 50 yard bomb doesn't mean he is a better QB.

The Giants would be the best team in the NFC, The Jets would be 3-10.

None of you will realize how good Chad was, until he is gone I guess.

How many completions over 20 yards did Chad actually throw? I have seen Coles and Cotchery take his five yard dumpoffs and run 25-30 yards but as far as him actually hitting somebody downfield? That is another story.

I'm not sure we'd be seeing much difference in overall record. I don't like Eli but I think his "style" is a better fit for the type of team the Jets are.

Pennington's arm is terrible. You people saying otherwise are in denial.

I don't think anyone is really saying otherwise. But for all we bitch about the dumpoffs and weak arm we'd be complaining just as much after one of Eli's 33% completion masterpieces.

I think the myth of Chad's arm has just grown and grown, his arm is not weak. it's not strong but it's not weak, he has TOUCH which some people mistake for weakness.

Neither are Eli's passes half of the time. If Plaxico wasn't 6'6" and pulling passes out of the sky, Eli's completion % would absolutely suck.
