Who is #76 on the Jets in this picture. Look how thin he is!!! He's not much bigger than Joe. Then look at Elvin Bethea. Talk about a mismatch.
Bethea was a monster What's covering the turf? In red and yellow of all colors (which neither of the teams in action use in their color scheme) popped balloons?
Doesn't seem like we've had a lot of memorable #11's. Or any #11's that come to mind outside of Turner
You can just see Brian Hansen holding for Lowery here, wearing 11 I'm curious if Lowery was the last Jet to wear the single bar?
Yeah, although I don’t recall him seeing the field (stats indicate he did). He rode the bench for multiple seasons.
Met Tom at Hofstra at least 20 times, what a nice man, I would tell him you're our best punter since Curley Johnson and he'd laugh and spot me in the crowd, never missed an autograph or photo op with my boys, met him at his sons football game in Massapequa and talked to him for 20 minutes, felt bad because his wife was standing there, he would have kept on talking
LOL I had totally forgotten about this. Who was the Jets journeyman QB during Kotite's reign of terror/error that had a pitch or lateral intercepted by the Panthers' Sam Mills and run back for a TD? Was it Jack Trudeau or Bubby Brister? I think it was Brister. OMG I just looked it up on YouTube and it was Brister and Mills did it both times. He was a Saint when he took the ball out of Nagle's hand and a Panther when he took the handoff from Brister. ROFLMAO!!! Only the Jets would have had that happen twice!
