The other thing is that we know that Mac has an obsession with the BPA, whether that is a need or not, or whether that player is a good scheme fit. If Bosa and Q. Williams are rated higher than Allen, that's all the motivation Mac would need to take one of them instead of Allen. Personally, I think that Mac is stupid and should have been fired this offseason, if not last year. Neither Bosa nor Q. Williams are scheme fits, and they are scheme dependent. Allen isn't. He can play OLB in a 3-4 or as a DE or OLB in a 4-3.
i'm thinking a 1st or a 2nd rounder and a player or late pick. clark went for a 1st and 2nd but clark has a better resume. we got a 2nd and a player for richardson and williams really should have more value then him as well. most likely if we did trade leo it would be like a 2nd and a 4th if i had to guess and we'd probably throw in a 6th rounder too
i don't get people lol. be a disruptive asshole to everyone for a year, finally get a small slap on the wrist for it, throw a hissy fit and tell everyone to fuck off basically.
If we let Williams go after next year, would we get a compensatory pick for him? I assume if we did it would be a 3rd rounder. So I would assume trading him for a 2nd or higher is a preferable scenario.
depends on how many people we sign. comp picks are rewarded when you lose more players then you bring in. If we let him walk but sign 2 players we get nothing
They said Leonard was the best available at the time. If a guy ain't a pass rusher he cannot help the Jets. Drafting Williams should get Macc fired immediately.
