    Bell should’ve attended. He deserves criticism.

    The dude just sat out a whole fucking season, show up for few days to meet your new teammates and start off on a good foot

    He was already there for a week. He did all the meetings, all the workouts. I fully understand a player who just sat out a year wanting to go with his own regimen. The coaching staff seems to get it too, so I can't pretend to be upset about it.

    I'm very excited about this season.

    We've rid ourselves of Todd the Zombie and added playmakers on both sides of the ball.

    Gase is a smart detail oriented coach, and Greg Williams has an aggressive defensive approach.

    Both these coaches are the answer to what has plagued the Jets for quite a few years...no identity on offense and a defense that folds in crucial moments.

    My one concern is that the egos can be held in check...'specially if we struggle in the first 8 games.

    I imagine he just means he's going to be true to himself, and lead in his quiet confident way, rather than try to be someone else like a ray Lewis who gets in your face.
