New/updated uniforms (Poll Added)

This is the uniform version of a politically correct safe space. Don't try to offend. Make it tolerable and unconfrontational as possible

 

The helmet looks great, I don’t particularly care for the football all that much but other than that, much improved.

 

Not a long one (break) I hope. Ignore those who were giving you grief or were too negative.

 

meh......would like to see some semblance of an aircraft on the helmet.

 

It’s really not that bad - the helmet logo could have been a little more interesting . The Gotham green is much richer and looks a lot better in my opinion - the hunter green was awful .

This being said I find it hard to believe it took four years to make this switch. I consider this a tweak - not really an overhaul.

Let the team start winning and the uniform haters will slowly go mute.

 

I have to say, arguing about the color cloth the players will be wearing is much less stressful than arguing about who’s going to be the fucking starting quarterback. Glad we’ve moved on to smaller problems.

 

I was pretty sure the Jets were going to take idiotic advice and make some extreme change to "make a splash" like they have been wanting to do with everything else, changing colors drastically and trying to duplicate the level of monstrosity that was the 1st generation Tennessee Titans jersey.

What we have right now is as close as you get to a modular design that can be improved (or ruined, depending on who is making the changes) over time. It's not cluttered and jammed with half-assed symbolism that has to be dealt with in the future. The Logo on the helmet is slightly regrettable to me, and also the fact that they didn't somehow work a matte finish into it, which I think looks pretty cool most times it is used.

Other than that, it has room to improve without drastic changes made over the years. I'll give it a chance.

 

And the colors look better in the light & not on a dark stage.

 

What if they play at night?

 

They are ok except why is there no Jet anywhere?

The words Jets and a football is redundant- we know who they are
Plus that font is too mushy squishy. Not forceful.

But whatever who cares

New uniforms are atrocious.
Looks like an arena league wannabe.

Doing away with white on white, if they are is a huge mistake.

I was afraid they would do something ridiculous--they didn't, so that's good.

The uniforms just look slightly worse than they did yesterday, that's all. The black is lame on principle, and green pants continue to look stupid. At least we don't have a two-tone fade helmet or melted digital clock jersey numbers.

Abomination avoided is the best a Jets fan can hope for.

 

I think I like the uniforms slightly more than you, but this is pretty spot on.

Playing at night is not playing in the dark. The field is usually more lit up than that stage was.

 

MEH. After 5 years, THIS was the best they could do? The logo is lame. Why do they need to use the word "JETS" as the logo? DO they think we don;t know what the name of the team is? Why not incorporate an actual jet? There was a really nice one back about 20 or 30 pages ago.

The best I can say is that they're not offensive - no surprise since the Jets don't do offense.

Also like white helmets so much more and black face mask looks ridiculous.

 

I do like the new unis, but I must concede that the old white on white was super slick, and one of the best sets in the league. I gotta go with Sam on this one though, wins look better than loses regardless of the jerseys.
