MEH. Not inspiring at all. What's the point of the change...for change's sake? Not a fan of the black at all, as I've said before. It's derivative. Helmet - could they really not come up with a logo that incorporates a jet of some kind? I was hoping they would do something like the Eagles do with their eagle wings - jet wings? Jersey - What's with the ambiguous "swoosh" on the shoulders? Again, why not an actual jet wing? The words "New York" are okay, and the style of the numbers is somewhat throwback which I do like. Pants - hate the green pants (and the black of course). I do like the shade of green. Seems like a big build up to big let down. SOJs.
I personally agree with several posters and find it nonsensical to leak something one day before publishing somehing that you've kept under wraps for months. Having said that it if these are pucka then its sadly just what I expect - a dull rehash of what we already have with nothing remotely franchise changing in them (not that I believe a kit change fundamentally changes a club philosophy anyway) So hard to get excited about this latest 'leak'.... I bet the Jets marketing team is watching this thread, high fiving each other, and laughing their asses off. Less than 24 hours away and they’ve kept the real uniforms under lock and key and managed to drive everybody crazy on the last day for kicks ....
Honestly disappointed by the uniforms but it could have been much worse. Get rid of the charger looking shoulder stripes and the logo, and it's not bad. I wonder if with enough feedback we could get them to change the logo. The logo looks like a total joke.
Just seems like an evolved 90's uni's. They're not great but not a Bucs/Seahawks/Browns disaster either. Whatever. I'll be used to them by the 3rd preseason game. They look like the Jets at least. It's not a laughingstock uni. Now let's focus on not being a laiughingstock team
The logo and the wedge on the shoulder ruins it for me. Otherwise, like the shade of green and the color combos.
The 80s/90's logo would've been perfect. Maybe a slightly larger version of it. Wish they used straight lines on the striping instead of the pointy stuff.
Straight lines instead of the leg point and that shoulder thing would make such a difference for the better. Also agree on 80's logo being better. The black facemask doesn't fit either. Black alternate would be better with green numbers, and w/o black pants. All in all, it's really not very good, and a change in the wrong direction. Hopefully that's a false leak (although it could be worse).
Jets had one of the better looking uniforms in the league. Now they have whatever this thing is? I hope this leak is just a troll job.
