I had no intention of banning him but Royal Tee has banned him for a month. Knowing Stokes, I don’t think he is coming back neither as Stokes nor Rollo. Sad.
I saw the warning given by Royal Tee but never noticed another outburst from Rollo, did he go for the original offence then? Shame, as you said.
Original offense. But this isn't the only incident. It was a build up. Some serious discussions behind the scene. That said, let's not continue this discussion here. If anybody has specific questions I will be happy to answer them privately.
By "giving him a shot" do you mean signing him, or bringing him in for a look? I'd look at him, then likely say no thanks.
Not to be a dick, but a post about Dez comes up every year and he is totally washed up at this point. We may not have a #1 but we have 3 solid #2s with Crowder, Robby, and Enunwa. I dont think Dez is better than any of them right now.
I don't think anyone is suggesting that Dez is a 1, merely a red zone target. We're going to rotate 20 more WRs through the off season. None will be as good as Dez. Didn't we have 17 on the roster at one point and plenty before and after them. No harm in getting a look at him and evaluating his recovery. Especially if we have an injury and body a need at the position.
The problem isn’t anyone thinking Dez is a # 1 receiver it’s Dez thinking he is ... the flip side of that coin is the guy would probably come in hungry to prove he’s still got something left in the tank . If he could be had for the veteran minimum with a highly incentivized contract ,maybe , but there’s no way I see his ego accepting that . Don't think he's going to cost much. His contract last year was pretty cheap and I agree, IMO, he's looking to prove Garrett wrong His tweet, someone is going to get a steal, in reference to him playing this year indicates he's not expecting to get paid.
If they can sign him cheaply, non-guaranteed, incentive laden contract why not? Bring him into camp, if he's shot dump him. If he's rejuvenated they get a player with a chip on his shoulder on a show me contract. I don't see the downside. If he's a cancer in camp cut him.
