Valid and reasonable takes. What are you talking about?

There's nobody on the jets roster that is a threat that warrants a double team. Defenses will stack the box unless the jets can show otherwise. I hope they make it happen but I just don't see it with the current roster.

I think you looking for more than we should be spending on a wide receiver at this point. We need good depth. Garcon, Hogan, even that turd Moncrief would be a solid 4.

His $13.1 million average salary is nowhere near where he thought he was going to be and he was always going to make the first $14.5 million but it's the last $14.5 million that he's never going to earn back.

That money is gone. He's not a baseball player that can add years onto the end of a career or even a backup QB that can still earn $10 million for holding a clipboard at age 40.

His strategy blew up on him--to our benefit.

Look, if you want to argue that he made out on this deal or that he recouped the money he left on the table, have fun with that.

    He didn't.

He would have been a Steeler under their terms instead of a Jet under his terms. He has money and he isn't the Steelers property. He didn't want to sign with the Steelers. In reality he turned down 14.5 for 35 million.

Bell has something that's virtually priceless. He actually freed himself from a predatory monopoly.

Welcome to the NY Jets. The same NY Jets that once thumbed their nose at the NFL and kicked the ass of their Championship franchise.

Bell is the epitome of playing like a Jets. The Sonny Werblin kick ass Jets.

I didn't want Bell. I am getting over it. I am embracing the direction the Jets are going in. I'm with you.

But, "Allow yourself to be happy"? Dude, I'm a JETS fan.

    I detected the tone too.

Sounds like they are mad for their contemporaries buying into more fake news and reporting it.

I'm happy he's a Jet. But he is all about the money and he will get less of it. That priceless freedom will cost him what he most desired--money.

He's not some social justice warrior fighting for the little man against the big bad monopoly, but feel free to keep believing that. I know that's you thing.

This is America bud. Capitalism is based on fighting for yourself. Predatory monopolies are what they are. The Jets won, the Steelers and the NFL lost. Bell got 35 million guaranteed and plays in NYC. That beats any amount of money and having to live in Pittsburgh. You are all about the money. Money + personal freedom= priceless.

I'll take 1 on 1s with Robby, Q, Herndon and Crowder with Bell catching out to the back-field. Need a few more weapons for depth purposes, another young difference maker via draft would be nice.

Those guys are spot on. Look, I'm ecstatic that we have the player but him and his agent fucked around with everyone with all the misdirection to inflate his value and ultimately it was all bullshit.

    Exactly.

Like I said, keep telling yourself that.

I just hope he brings it 100% rather than sulking because his fight for personal freedom cost him...money.

What about a tilde? I find myself needing that more often. Like twice a year as opposed to once in a lifetime.
