If the player agrees to a contract in which the team has the right to cut the player, the team has honored the terms of the agreement. You don’t seem to have an understanding of contracts.

He gambled THAT away because he thought he was going to get $17-$18 mill a year and possibly $50+ mill in guarantees. That someone would pay him for his missed year. WR group + Herndon isn't all that bad. Would be nice to get an elite #1 receiver though, unfortunately there's nothing out there. Would be nice to find something good in the draft, but that's not a guarantee especially because you're not drafting a WR at #3. This is where Mac needs to come up big in the mid rounds for once.
One guy that’s out there, I think at least, that would help Sam a lot is Garçon. At this age he doesn’t have to play every snap and he’s the type of guy that can make the gritty, tough play.
