To be honest....while some have sucked less than others...... NONE. and hopefully the real deal will look better than anything posted by people playing with photoshop so far.
I've said it multiple times already, I think their all-whites are one of the slickest looking unis in the league, but if it's time for change... CHANGE, not a half asses re-hash. Unlike Rollo, I would actually like a matte gunmetal look (with green accents of course) if it was done well..... could fit with a "JET" look

But I'm just a graphic designer who cares more about surfing, fishing, and living by the beach than focusing on his career

 

I agree not too many mock ups have looked like a change for the better.
Also agree on the all whites. Great uniform as is, which is probably why none of the mocks ups will look like a big improvement.
I don't think a change is really needed, so I can't agree about doing a massive change just for the fuck of it tho.
Like Rollo said, less is more here.

 

Best DL I've ever seen play.. Maybe even best defensive player overall.

 

In some other thread, ages ago, there was a mock-up of Darnold in an updated '80s style jersey. I would vote for that if I could find the damn thing.

I gotta a questions. When’s the last time an nfl team changed a uniform for the good. Tbe Titan uniforms were horrible

 

Think they could do something with an actual Jet on the logo?

Whoa whoa whoa.

I am a HUGE Butkus fan.

But LT changed the way teams are built, why left tackle is the 2nd or 3rd most important position on the field.

I think Butkus was a more ferocious hitter, likely the most feared. There are a select few of those type guys--Bednarik, Lott, Lambert, Deacon Jones, Mean Joe Greene.

But LT changed the game.

 

I dont think Seahawks,jags or tampa are that bad.Those teams have a different brand than the Jets & i think they fit.

The titans one i dont care for but they are distinct. Vikings are fine.i hate the cardinals black jerseys..black pants wouldve been more palatable.

I look at uni changes as a sign of the times.I love watching NFL films & seeing old unis for better or worse through different eras for each team.

Some are cringeworthy but the 70s & 80s had their fashion perils..just like one day we’ll look at this current era & judge accordingly.

 

The whole black alternative thing to me is reprehensible but at least with red it kind of goes.

Green not so much.

Have you seen the Celtics black unis? Oooof.

 

I think a dark gun metal grey COULD work with the green but it needs to be used specifically. The black alternates require the "right: team and it's just not the Jets.

 

I dont like every team having a black alternate so i do agree to a certain extent; see Cardinals.Theyre my far distant second team & it just doesnt fit.

I like alot of the green on black unis.Dallas stars,North Texas U, Milwaukee bucks(which is saying something cause theyre my team & i loved their prior green on green & even the purple look)

I dont care for the celtics look either as theyre very dull & the oregon thing makes my eyes hurt.

It has to be done right.
