    yes please.

    Barr Mosely Williamson Lee

This would be a truly ideal scenario IMO. Would be a crazy fierce lb group

You want 230lb Lee at 3-4 OLB?

Yeah, as much as I would love to have Mosley, I don’t think the Jets have a spot for him unless they are ready to move on from Lee. I wouldn’t be opposed to that, but would be surprising.

We may not be ready to move on from Lee, but Mosley is better. If you can make the team better, you figure it out. With all the pass rushers getting tagged, we need to improve somehow. I'm all for Mosley, two OL and a RB to make our "splash" in free agency.

I think Lee should move to OLB, or to your point we figure out a rotation with Lee and Williamson. Mosley is one of the best LB's in the NFL and he's in his prime. You don't pass on him because we are rostering Darron Lee. Mosley, would be our new David Harris for the next 8 years, but quite frankly better.

Mosley would be a great addition. I think if the Jets could they'd move on from Lee. I'd like a 4th for Lee but not likely. That being said if we signed Mosley I'd be ok with moving on from Lee. In the grand scheme the Jets need so much I don't think they'll sign Mosley.

I don't think we need to move on from Lee, I think we just use him in positions of strength. Also we have over $100M in cap space. There is no reason we can't sign Mosely, address our needs and still carry cap over to 2020.

I dont think its likely that he will be a Jet. I certainly think he is a hell of a backer and wish they would grab him and dump Lee, but I dont see that happening

Why he was suspended for 4 games to end the season, and to my understanding we have not picked up his 5th year option? If they want to move on from him they definitely can. I would keep him and add Mosely, but that's just me.

I agree with you that we haven't used him correctly. I think there is something there. That being said he disappears during games and gets flattened when olineman come his way. He improved but if we moved on from him it wouldn't be a big loss.

I'm not entirely sure what your question is, but they don't have to decide on Lee's 5th year option until May. Also, because he went and got himself suspended, his contract for 2019 is not guaranteed. So the Jets could cut him anytime, now, May, training camp, week 1, etc. and not be out anything. So yes, very team friendly now.

But I think we can all agree this team needs a "culture change" .. Lee is selfish and weak and it carries over in that locker room. Making a bold statement by picking up a real football player like C.J. Mosely and sending Lee packing would be a great move for the locker room, on top of a big upgrade at the MLB position. I just don't see it happening

Mosely is probably going to want to be paid in the range of Luke Kuechly's deal with Carolina. 5 years/$62 million. Baltimore's GM said he hopes they can come up with a deal before he hits free agency but I don't see how that's possible. They have barely over the $12 million that he will want in cap space as a whole

Right so thats exactly my point. The notion that we wouldn't cut Lee makes no sense to me. I also don't think we need to. It's not like we can't roster both. Sign Mosely, try Lee outside. If it doesn't work then cut him next year.

Also, what we need on defense is a defensive captain calling signals. I don't want Adams doing it. And honestly, I like Adams drive, but he is all mouth to me. We need a leader, not a hype man. Not that there's anything wrong with being a hype man, they have a place, but they aren't generally leaders.

The talk of cutting Lee is a little foolish to me. He was one of the best coverage linebackers in the league last year and was playing out of position. We were trying to make him one of those Todd Bowles hybrid safety/linebackers. That’s not what made him so good at Ohio State. I have no doubt that Williams sees where Lee fits in an NFL defense and will find ways to maximize his talents. If you could put Mosley and Williamson inside with Lee and Jenkins outside, your LB corps is pretty solid.

Didn’t suggest cutting him, but Mosley is better.

Fair enough but I don't think Lee is ever going to be able to play OLB. You sign Mosely and Lee is simply your backup ILB. He might have to figure out how to play special teams for once

You didn’t but others have. And yes Mosley is better but Lee is also playing out of position.
