The shade of green is always changing...I like the Kelly Green...as long as we stay away from black...yuck.
Who says they really want to change things? No need to 'go big or go home' at all. I agree current uniforms are fine. Only minor tweaks should be good enough, which is the point. Nike owns the contract, and does the designs. Teams cannot partner with other manufacturers for the re-design. So this would be Nike designing all changes, and that's not who you want rebooting a teams design, especially when it's not needed in the first place. Their track record is atrocious. See all Florida teams.
That's not bad at all. Never understood Nike's rubber V-neck tho. But trading those terrible green pants for a green helmet is a win in itself. 80's logo, nicer green, thinner helmet stripes, and lighter facemask are all good tweaks also. I assume there would also be a black third jersey alternative with green numbers.

I am up for a totally new look. New logo,new green, green helme... etc. I don’t want any black on our 2 uniforms. If they make an alternate uniform then I can deal with black. This ain’t gonna be a slight change. Let’s go big. Fuck it.

Anyone see the military green Gase was wearing at the combine? I have a feeling it’s that green with black. Fits the Jets theme, a new Green not like current or past. Uniform design will be the key, nice uniform makes any color scheme work.
For some reason I just can’t see green and white staying. It’s been way too hyped for us to simply remix what we already have.
Pretty sure they are contracted for both, with the NFL league office also heavily involved. Gase hat during interview today had no logo. But note the color of the hat. It’s more of a military green. I dig it. Possible clue.
If the Jets use the military to promote their merchandise then I expect them to donate a significant portion of their revenues to the military. Otherwise fuck the Jets.
That's just it.... the logo dictates the rest. The Titans was just a butchered rehash job... "lets reverse the colors and fuck up the jerseys"...but It's Tennessee (no disrespect to Arrested Development)... Like I mentioned earlier in this thread, I asked my cousin if he had any inside info (He's a designer/ studio manager in Portland for a big ad agency that handles most of Nike's stuff) and he hadnt seen anything so who knows.... I dont want anything to change. Their all-whites are one of the smoothest in the nfl IMO, but like I said earlier, if theyre gonna change shit... blow it up and go big (still have to keep some green)... just do it right!
