Not surprising at all. JA doesn't seem to appreciate the long ramp up to respectability he's witnessing here in NY. He told the truth about the talent level on this team and by doing so, put his GM on the spot so they had to "talk" to him.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he bolts the Jets at the end of his contract.

 

Not really surprising to me. The guy is hungry for success and doesn't want to get saddled with a loser franchise his entire career. If we're still putting up 4-win seasons in a couple years, I wouldn't even be upset if our few good players decided to leave. Best of luck to them.

 

Adams has two more years, a fifth year option, and the franchise tag. By the time he can bolt for NO, Brees will be retired.

Now, he's pushing hard for the Jets to acquire Antonio Brown, which seems to be a matter way above the pay grade of a second-year safety. I admire the guy's talent and his fire, but I can see him turning into a diva, which would certainly suck. Let's just hope he's never spotted within 100 yards of any Kardashian or Odell Beckham.
