Uh I got some sad news. The jets are the least attractive job on the open hires list with the possible exception of the two Florida teams. And even there where would you rather be miami or Tampa or east rutherford nj?

Think your rankings are way off personally.
I think the Jets / Browns are 1 A 1B but I'd give the Jets a slight edge.
3 Green Bay for a young OC first time HC who could deal with having Rodgers undermining him every game.
Being the new coach wasn't involved with Alex Smith getting drafted ahead of Rodgers. Maybe Rodgers wouldn't be as big a dick as he's been in recent years.
4 Tampa Bay good offense, has needs on D. No state income tax. Becomes a factor when you consider multi million dollar contracts.
5 Miami .Have talent , will need a QB, likely to be Teddy Bridgewater, at least for a year. Same as Tampa, no taxes. Very desirable location. Great weather, fine dining , night life, beautiful beaches.
6 Denver still some players on D, very good run game. Great place to live.
HOF QB GM who can't evaluate QB talent drops them down on the list as does age of roster and significant holes.
7 Arizona still have some talent, young QB and draft picks to build from.
8 Bengals. Going to take years to wipe the Marvin Lewis stench away.

This doesn’t make too much sense considering McCarthy turned down another interview and now is taking one with us.

McCarthy is a terrible coach. God help us if he’s the next skipper

Hopefully Kingsbury is just being floated as a way to get the fans more on board with the idea of McCarthy.

I think I’d rather have KK than MM. McCarthy is a dunce packers fans hated him. He should’ve been done when they collapsed in that nfc title game at Seattle

Kingsbury doesn't deserve a shot as an NFL HC coming off a mediocre 5 season run at Texas Tech.

Just bring in Mike Leach, he taught most of these guys.

Leach would be interesting but he’s too abrasive a lot of big schools have stayed away from him

Kingsbury has never coached in the NFL and was barely there as a player. His only stop as a collegiate head coach was underwhelming to say the least.

This is classic Jets, though. We've done this nonsense with guys on the defensive side of the ball for the last two decades. Now it's time to experiment with "offensive minds" that don't have much of a clue about what they're doing.

If this list outside of McCarthy is legitimate, then they need to make sure he doesn't leave without a contract.

Yes troll the word to use when you don’t wanna hear what the person has to say. McCarthy is not a good coach. He did very little with the best one or two quarterbacks in a generation. Next

He did very little... if you don’t count the title, 8 straight playoff appearances with 9 total in his 12 seasons and 6 division titles.
Other than that though the guy is a turd!

I’d be pretty scared of hiring any big 12 coach given how poorly they play defense and that includes Lincoln Riley

And all of that despite Green Bay's backward position on free agency.

Also, it's not as if the Jets have had anything resembling that kind of success in the last 50 years.

In that case why not Marvin Lewis he did more with less than McCarthy. His teams actually had a running game and a defense but were limited by bad qb play

Alright you’re either a troll or dumb. Which one? Because saying Marvin Lewis did more with less than McCarthy is high-level dumb.
