Everybody wants the Jets to trade down but the problem is I can’t see a team wanting to trade up in this draft . For who ? Bosa will probably the first pick. There’s no QB as of now that warrants a trade up . Herbert is staying in school . The only thing I see would be if one of these QBs has an off the wall combine and then a team like Jax wants to leap frog the Giants . Who would that QB be ?

All it takes is one team to fall in love with a prospect. The Saints paid a premium to trade up for Marcus Davenport, so it doesn't always have to be a QB. If I'm the Jets I'm holding the lines open until the last second.

Oh I’m sure the lines will be open. I hope you’re right . I just don’t see that happening in this particular draft.....

The thing that sucks is that we're drafting this high in a year where there aren't a couple of elite QB prospects that teams covet. With our lack of roster depth,
we could really benefit from being on the receiving end of the same haul that we gave the Colts last year when we moved up.

Hopefully either the 49ers or Cards fall in love with a specific player and the other drafts Bosa. We then hold the keys to the draft. Jacksonville could be on the phone with ASAP. Swap 1s and have them throw in their 2? All aboard baby.

That would be way too little compensation for dropping from 3rd to 7th. Jags would need to include the 2nd plus both their 3rd rounders or 2019 2nd and 2020 2nd

As nice as it would be, I don't see the Jets trading back, unless word gets out that Oakland is looking for a QB.

In that case I'd be happy with Josh Allen or Jonah Williams. I think there is a pretty good chance both are there and both play premium positions.

Unlikely....few teams willing to move up. Not many desperate for a QB and not that many QB's worth taking.

What kills me is had we lost the Buffalo game, we get Nick Bosa. F*** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better a weak QB class this year than last year.

If someone is willing to pay 50% more in Draft Points, sure. But not for 10-20% more.

As sad as it is, I don't think I could handle an interior detective lineman.

Even though I'd consider it a slight need, I have to go trade back, pass rusher or lineman

That's fine. More the better. I was just giving an example of a way we could be the team that teams want to trade up to with.

If we trade Williams for a decent return and sign a pass rusher/OL... I’d be all for it.

Yeah I know. So close to Bosa... The Cardinals almost got the upset yesterday and Giants should have won. All around they were super close to getting that pick.

The hope is that Haskins declares and lights the world on fire in the combine. One of the QB needy teams might want to leapfrog the others regardless of the value.

Have to hope SF falls in love with someone and doesn't want to trade back.

Or that Haskins and Lock and Grier light up the combine and private workouts.
