And I don't mind that. I was on the "Let's trade D'Rob" bandwagon because I thought he would never adapt to a 3-4 NT. Every week he is proving me wrong. And he can only get better. He doesn't bitch and plays hard every Sunday. Can't ask for more

I don't agree. He's not a super star but he is a very valuable part of the rotation. I know you like DRob, but I believe it is more than a coincidence that his play has gotten better with Moore getting more snaps the past few games....

    are you serious?

Rashad Moore is a very servicable backup. he does everything the coaches want him to do at NT, especially regarding stuffing the run.

    cheers

More and more I[m thinking we need a CB in the draft. Less and less I think we need a DT. Maybe a DE, but not NT/DT

By "stuffing the run" you actually mean giving up a 40yd run to Ahman Green? Getting pushed back 5-10 yds? Getting PANCAKED BY A ROOKIE OG?!

I've seen the same from D-Bust, I mean D-Rob often over his tenure here... Everyone gets beat once in a while... but seems on this board we like to point out the negatives far more often than the positives...

True, true, and true. Now when DRob was getting manhandled by the likes of Melvin Fowler, Hank Fraley, and Brad Meester...It was all about defending DRob. While he also gave up long runs, consistently got pushed back, and did get pancaked...

Not defending Moore but he's solid, he does a nice job against the run, sure he could use improvement, but he is solid.

Apples and Oranges. Moore is a situational player. And everytime he's in there for like 2-3 snaps he gets bullrushed backwards or pancaked. He doesnt even play the pass and he cant play the run. To compare him to Robertson, who's in there on every down, playing the pass AND the run, switching positions and collapsing the pocket is a little ridiculous dont you think? When was the last time Moore collapsed the pocket anyway? You act like its the first time the guy got pushed backwards. I've said it over and over again, he's garbage and it showed against the Packers once again.

Robertson is getting better every week. He's their guy, case closed.

i've seen Moore get into the backfield numerous times. sure, pass-rushing isn't his speciality, but so what? he's a backup, and he's done a servicable job. otherwise, he wouldn't be here.

    cheers

Need to start a thread for Draft Prospects.
So, we can get a chance to see them play in the bowls.
Carriker of Nebraska is one I know of.

When a 300 pound guy pushes or hits you till you fall over backwards, then he lands on you and you get squashed flat like a pancake.

Not sure what you mean here. Usually when Moore is in, Robertson is on the sidelines....

At the beginning of the season he was in there on every down. They rest him now which is why he's more productive and disruptive.

Thats the worst thing that could happen to you as a ~330 lbs NT. To get flat out pancaked by a 300 lbs rookie OG.
