The wing eating contest between Bart Scott and Willie Colon was more excitement than I expect from this game
Nothing like going to the Jets fan site to learn about how much we need to lose games. If your attitude is “we need to lose more games” than do you really deserve a good team? I have no faith in Bowles but his fate goes well beyond this game or the next, and its made in circles that have agendas that go beyond winning football. That is the sad part. The truth is we could easily get an even worse coach to replace Bowles. It’s happened before and will happen again. As for the draft slot – give me a break. All I really need to enjoy football, and the Jets, is a win on Sunday – no matter what our record is. Its three hours of entertainment that is much more entertaining when we win. Sometimes that’s as good as it gets. I’m not going to throw that away in hopes that in a year or two…blah blah blah.
give the bills credit: their front office continued to look to bring in guys, they gave them a chance to play, even a qb for only 2 weeks on the team. their coaches make adjustments in game, they bench/cut veterans who did not do their job, even eating cap money. they go into this offseason with the 3rd largest cap kitty and a slew of extra draft picks. and, they hit more often than not in rounds 2-5. no wonder the jets are in last place. the pegulas are listening to the fans and made changes both with the nfl and nhl teams. so unlike woody and christopher ......
The assbeating is what they deserve. They faked an injury to protect the soft feelings of their QB. Gutless team. I’m glad Buffalo beat the shit outta them
I think my biggest takeaway from this game was Sam Darnold believe it or not. I've felt like these last few weeks have really not been his fault and that he's hung in there pretty well actually considering he has been getting no help what so freaking ever from anyone or anything. But at least he'd move the team a little despite the dropped passes, questionable play calling, and not even getting snaps to him clean a majority of the time. McCown today couldn't do anything. They had like 1 offensive yard (literally) into the 2nd quarter. I still think Darnold is going to get us there but in typical Jets fashion apparently absolutely nothing will ever come smoothly and we're going to have to wallow around in the ***tpile for awhile till we get there.
Except, if you were paying attention, you would note that the subject was his outperforming his successors in both of his last two jobs. Facts!

That was just a joke about the Bills fans who come on here and say how great Peterman and Allen will be. As for Barkley crushing us: No one will ever be able to explain that. Ridiculous.
