Think id rather the teams make a pregame trade either way to see what an injured spencer long/nathan peterman center QB tandem would look like?
We still don't know which Bills QB the Jets will be facing on Sunday. Nathan Peterman? A total beast who is the future of the Bills franchise. He will run the AFC East for the next decade. Derek Anderson? A straight up awesome QB with unlimited upside despite his concussion. Josh Allen? Rocket arm, also the future of the Bills franchise, who will run the AFC East for the next decade. Matt Barkley? I didn't even know he was still in the league or on the Bills, but total beast who can rip through and shred the Jets secondary. Can't wait.
Barkley vs McCown is a match-up for the ages. I've bought a backup Tivo just in case the primary one melts due to white-hot-awesome QB play.
which is why i wanted mayfield instead.....we should have hired john dorsey as director of football operations....johnson brothers can't do much right...
Who else will be at the game this week? Can't wait for Sunday. Missed the tailgate and can't wait to see friends.
I can't believe the Jets are -7. I know Buffalo sucks, but their defense is good, most of the ppg they give up is because of the offense. If Peterman starts -7 is a bargain, otherwise I don't like it.
Raking leaves and cleaning out my sink trap fall way higher on my List of Fun Activities than spending any time watching a game that features a 40 y.o, backup who will not have any part in the future of this team, and may possibly enable them to win a completely meaningless game that will" 1. Hurt their draft position 2. Improve Bowles's chances of remaining as HC. No thanks.
This just feels like a same old Jets make Peterman look like Tom Brady type moment brewing. Though winning of course hurts us going forward, especially as it helps Bowles survival. So yea we'll probably have a Pyrrhic victory. This game will probably resemble that Jets-Cardinals disaster of a few years ago. 7-6 win in the worst football game I've ever seen
If the Jets lose back to back division games against Brock Osweiller and Matt Barkley, we need to launch Todd Bowles into the sun.
Admit the optics are bad, but Osweiler didn't beat us highhandedly or anything. We weren't beaten by a shit QB. We were beaten for a ton of other reasons, one of which is that we have a 21 year old rookie QB who threw 4 picks and we have a center who can't snap the ball and injured receivers who cannot get open in any way
Can we put Woody and Chris next to him? I will be at the game tomorrow. If we lose again, I probably will lose it too.
I'll be there too, this game has the same feeling to me as a Mets game back in '86 after a road stand when I was there the day before George Foster was let go. I hated that damn drum they played when he came to bat. He was awful, shot and deserved to be put out of his misery. Bring in the Jets drumline and play taps for bowles!!!
