Great game, highly recommend it. You'll be burning hours away cause there's so much to do in the damn game.
21-3 Bills Darnold throws 2 pick six's and has a fumble returned for a TD. Bowles goes for a FG with 5 mins remaining down 3 scores
Adams, Lee and fatboy have been good and getting better, Darnald will get better. At the end of the day if you think we have drafted shit it isn't going to improve the lower we get in every round. The scarier part is that we are nowhere near the worst team out there, fuck we still have a better record than the browns despite gifting them a game.
the last 3 years have not been bad but the rest of the last decade is...well... take a look: Vernon Gholston Dustin Keller Mark Sanchez Kyle Wilson Muhammad Wilkerson Quinton Coples Dee Milliner Sheldon Richardson Calvin Pryor
but on average you would expect at least 4 of those players to be top tier starters in the league - that is some really, really bad drafting
It's in the past, picked by a variety of different GM's, so really it is irrelevant now moving forward. Or does sacking Mac suddenly make it better with the next GM ? Mo should have been that guy but he got his money and quit like a greedy money grabbing cunt. For what it's worth I think Adams will be one of those top tier players, let us hope and pray Sam is one also.
I was just making the point that we seem to make poor choices regardless of where we pick in the first round - this franchise never seems to get anything right and its hard to imagine how to fix it - as you say we have had lots of GM and front offices but the results always seem to be the same
If it doesn’t rain I plan to go to this game. Yes we are bad but game day experience is still great for me.
I'll be watching. I still enjoy a Jets win no matter how ugly it gets... Who could forget our win against Arizona in 2012. Greg McElroy is thrown into the game in the 4th quarter and leads us to a gritty 7-6 victory, LOL. Hopefully there is more spark this Sunday
Jets might not score a point this weekend. If this game is anywhere near as ugly as the Dolphin loss, I'm think Bowles gets canned Monday.
Ryan is chuckling because both teams are doing far worse than they were when he coached them. Denial gets you nowhere.
Just like against the Lions and Denver, if jets get on a roll early this game could get UGLY....Jets 45 Bills 9 Take the Jets and the OVER
Bowles is doing the best he can. His defense held Miami out of the endzone. They gave up 2 FGs the whole game. His offense has a 21 yr old rookie QB playing behind a terrible O-line that can't open holes for the run game and can't give Darnold a clean pocket for more than 1.5 - 2 seconds. Less if the other team blitzes. And our WRs are OK when they're having a good day, but they can be terrible also, dropping passes and NEVER getting separation. Sam literally has nothing to throw too (all in less than 2 seconds). If Sam had Sanchez's O-line and running game (both first in the nation) we'd be 8-0 right now hands down. As nice as it would be to draft a pass rusher early next year, Macc HAS to go O-line early and often.
Just depends how you look at it. I assume you include 2009-11. Rex was pretty good. 2012-14, he was just as bad as Bowles, if not worse. Bowles went 10-6 in 2015, Who cares though? All that matter is 2016-18 where the team has mostly been an embarrassment. Buffalo made the playoffs last year, something Rex couldn't do there. So you are just factoring the current (2-7) Bills against the current (3-6) Jets, but it is more complex than that. Both have rookie QB's and appear to have potential bright futures post-2018. Both are far better off without Rex.
