I know this thread is focused upon our probable future vacancy at HC, but what other teams do y'all think will be looking for HC's? I think that our possible search will depend on some of the other options. I would think that if Lincoln Riley were to be interested in an NFL job, working with Mayfield in Cleveland would be of more interest, likewise with some other teams with HC's on the hot seat.

He is referring to movie "Pet Cemetery"

In the movie any animal buried in that cemetery would come back to life after death.

Seems to me that we are in dire need of a coach who is able to earn respect from a locker room, but at the same time know how to run a balanced attack on both sides of the football...these three are your answer. They check the box for literally everything you can ask out of a head coach, as well as have the skills needed to develop a young QB.

Shaw, in particular, is IN LOVE with Sam Darnold and I think would be intrigued to work with him. Riley and Harbaugh are long shots, but for enough money and control in the organization....it could be enticing. Lets pray we make the right choice, because I don't see how Todd Bowles lasts this year unless the team magically turns it around.

We need change....and the top NFL candidates aren't going to bring that....Todd Haley, Jim Schwartz, Bettcher.....Fellipio perhaps? But even Flip would not being the same magnitude of change as the proposed three would IMO.....

    Thoughts?

I'd rather get John Harbaugh (please Ravens start to lose).

Since I have no say in it, I'll repeat how I felt about this draft. I don't care which QB we draft, as long as it is the right one. I don't care what head Coach we hire, as long as it is the right one!

If they released Harbaugh....he would be on the list...a proven and level headed HC.

I'm judging based off hot collegiate coaches and current coordinators....

I don't think he would come here...plus would worry about him as a culture fit and as a leader of men.

We can not, should not and hopefully will not go into the 2019 draft with the current set of incompetent CS members, specifically TB and KR. Enough of this shit.TB should be shown the door now if we have any capable back up. Changing the culture of this team has done diddly shit to improve performance, discipline and execution. Not one player has exceeded expectations, not one freaking player has developed and shined under Bowles's so called system, or complete lack thereof.
Enough with the excuses and dumping the whole problem on Mac, TB does not deserve to be a HC. Sam and the rest of the players deserve much better.

Any and all of these guys should be targeted to be the HC of the NYJ next season.

    Eric Bieniemy - Chiefs OC
John DeFilippo - Vikings OC and former Eagles QB coach
    Jim Harbaugh - Michigan HC
    Lincoln Riley - Oklahoma HC

His O in St. Louis sucked balls averaged about 11 ppg during his time there.

    Another Tom Brady creation.

    Pass.

Can't deny that. Though I do think he's the only one of those guys that has any standalone talent, not just a Brady puppet. Clearly they felt the same way there or he would be the Colts HC.

kinggofg's kid also needs to be on this list.

The kid is too defensive minded.

Plus he gets cranky if he doesn't get his nap.

So true! I do think Mangini was BY FAR one of the best evaluators of talent we have had in our building. I would be all in on hiring him back as something with player personnel. I absolutely was head over heels for the decision to draft Nick and Brick in round one....Revis trade up.....David Harris...Brad Smith...Slauson etc.
