"Why the surprising Jets won't make the playoffs"

I thought you made this up Nancy. Glad to see ESPN says we won't, because really, I don't give a sh*t what the media says. What matters is what happens on the field.

 

honestly... why do they do this haha. its like a bully picking on a little kid for no reason. why cant they come up with a bull shit story saying why the giants, denver, or how about even the patriots. (yes i know the patriots record shows they will def make it) wont make it

What else is new...nobody respects the Jets organization. They've earned it over the years.

It's funny that they would say that... the poster above was right.. why not tell a story about why a team will make the playoffs instead of a story about why a surprising team won't

 

are you guys sure they said "won't" and not "will make the playoffs".. i heard it real fast but i was running on the treadmill when i heard it and couldn't make out the words... the only reason i bring it up is that there are different reports on ESPN that say the Jets will make it

The not so surprising Jets would NOT.

They did this because negitive news is what sells, everybody wants to hear about what wont happen, not what is going to happen. i.e. the giants being on the back of every newspaper, bc its negitive every week lately haha

 

Hmmm 02. Around the same time of the year they had the Contenders/Pretenders on ESPN and Salisbury called us pretenders that would not make the playoffs. 41-0 what?

 

If they've got problems with the Jets, what do they think of the Lions, Cardinals, Saints, Browns, Vikings, Raiders....

 

I didn't have an opportunity to see it.. what were the reasons ESPN gave?

 

If we do make the playoffs those scumbags at ESPN will jump right on the bandwagon, just like they did in 2002. The Jets sucked and the Pats and Fins were the only teams worth talking until we won the division that year and then suddenly all the on-air talent loved us. F them.

So what? Both Mike Ditka and Ron Jaworski said the Jets will make the playoffs earlier on NFL Primetime.

I'll take the word of a Super Bowl winning coach any day over a failed Vikings quarterback.

 

Sean Salisbury hates the Jets. Who cares what that moron thins anyway> He is one of ESPNs worst analysts, thats why he is not on Countdown or Primetime.
