Actually that premise is our only hope of winning this game. Denver will have a hard time getting themselves mentally down to the challenge of playing the Jets after losing a tough one to their arch rivals. The Jets just might sneak a win out of this.. Not holding my breath.
After watching Denver play well at home, they do seem a better team than us. Their defense was great most of the night, and the offense moves the ball, although not consistently (see: Keenum). I don't see a win here, but hopefully we play better.
As long as the Jets have a good week of preparation as they did last week and they are " ready for it " as they were last week against the Jags = They will be just fine
I'm having nightmares seeing Miller and Chubb coming off the corner. Poor Sam he should sit this game out to avoid any injury.
They are a better team, but who isn't? Arizona? Buffalo? The Jets need to find a way to get a win at home. I think they can but they prove me wrong constantly!
Sam should practice with only a center and a guard all week to emulate what he’ll be facing against Denver.
the next three games will be loses. This clown of a HC said, " that the team is better then they look on film." Say what? I mean you can not makeup this stuff... I swearwhat a twit.
I am planning another day at the Beach...maybe go to Surf Bagel too The tide comes in ..the tide goes out Fisherman with oversized reels, dogs playing go fetch, parents and toddlers...finish my James Patterson mystery murder Now THATS the way to gear up for another week of toil (12 months to Full Retir Age and my big payoff)
The key to winning this game is the same as last weeks. We absolutely have to establish the run to take the heat off of Sam. If we can estalish a nice rhythm on the ground ( A huge if at the moment) this will give Sam that extra second needed to play action fake / roll out of the pocket to scan the field. He has shown when given time he has no problem hitting receivers in stride. Once again, this is highly improbable with how predictable our running game has been and how atrocious our oline play has been to this point. On defense, expect a sh*t load of crossing routes from Sanders and Thomas. Since Bowles and Kacey are clueless we will not adjust our defense regardless of who we are playing and Denver will just emulate what Jax did to us last week. Unfortunately for us, I believe Keenum is a much better qb than Bortles is at carrying out a gameplan heavy on short crossing routes and I fully expect this game to get out of hand by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Predictions: Denver 38 - Jets 16 Sam - 19 of 36, 212 yards, 1 TD 1 Int, 1 fumble, 3 sacks.
