With Herm being Herm and Jay Cutler looking terrible against Seattle, I'm thinking Jax and Cincy are the toughest competition in that group.
well denver just lost... personally im not sold on cincy...i see them blowing a game down the stretch that will be costly and the road for jax doesnt get any easier
Yes indeed - if Jets win their remaining four games, they'll make the playoffs in what I believed was a 4-12---at best---team. Damn, got to love parity.
And Jax has an absolutely BRUTAL schedule... so does Cinci for that matter I'm so pumped up for this Buffalo game. Biggest game since 04 Pittsburgh. I hope the crowd shows up bigtime this week!
Right now, I think Jacksonville is going to be our biggest competition, since they hold the head-to-head tie-breaker against us. I still think Denver will get the one spot, although you never know with a rookie QB. I can't trust Herm to get KC to 10 wins, and I think Cincinnati will struggle to get to 10 wins with back to back road games against Indianapolis and Denver.
But Jax has Indy, Tennessee (not an easy win by any means), New England, and KC. Ideally, Jax drops those three games (or two of them) and is out of it going into Week 17. Then, Jax should take out Kansas City in Week 17.
Cutler looked very inept out there against Seattle. Denver can stay in the game with the run but their D wears down on them. I don't think they'll be making the playoffs this year unless they swallow their pride and put Plummer back in there.
jax has indy tenn NE and KC left i see them dropping at least 2, i see KC choking. im most worried about denver and cincy if we win out we should be the 5 seed
I can't say either way what Jacksonville will do, they are an unknown. They have the ability to be the best of the bunch, but also there are plenty of times when they look awful. Because of that unknown, and the fact that they own a direct tiebreaker over us, makes them the team that I feel is our biggest competition.
