yes you see it from all teams and they got feisty in a joint practice with the skins who threatened one of our players long before the joint practice they were going to attack him. We haven't had any fights with each other and many teams have had that https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story...m-newton-most-ridiculous-fight-fantasy-080216 that's from 2016 and even cam newton attacked one of his teammates and he is known as one of the "good guys"
It's not just a "handful" I've posted plenty that there are few to emulate at all True that ..and it always seems to be the bad guy loaded with talent is the one you are searching for!!! OTOH there are relative angels and demons and inviting a Pandoras Box like Fowler would not be smart imo Tom Coughlin got rid of him..TC knows football Bowles and Kacy have no structure in place fir this guy And that's story morning glory
Of course I don't think every team doesn't have these types of players. I do think not every team allows these players to constantly dominate the headlines and influence morale, performance and so on... and go out of their way to avoid bringing them into the fold. To go even further I think there are so many bad apples in the NFL that's it's ruining the league to an extent.
My position is simple if the Jets can do better than Fowler for Teddy, then that’s great. If at 24th hour all they could get in return was a young talented but troubled pass rusher, I’m not going to be up in arms about. Though I would prefer we ultimately are able to flip the low risk investment we made in Teddy into a potential long term return, I would even be OK with the less than ideal scenario where they kept him and he walked at the end of the year. The Jets are in the unfamiliar position of playing with house money, enjoy it. A former 3rd overall pick who is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential in exchange for one year rental who no one wanted just a few months ago would not be a bad haul. Let’s not allow perfect to be the enemy of the good or good enough.
⇧ ⇧ just because your niece 'pulled the goalie' and let Fowler cowpunch her goocookie doesn't mean you have to talk down to us....just sayin' brah.. .
Mind boggling the amount of Jets fans who wouldn't trade for Fowler in this thread, while simultaneously complaining we don't have a pass rush. I swear Jets fans have an aversion to good players at positions of need. He threw someones groceries in a lake. LOL who fucking cares? A fourth or less for Fowler is a steal and if it's available should happen immediately.
Think people are more concerned with his punching the guy in the face, knocking off his glasses, then stomping on them and resisting arrest than the actual groceries ( bottles of liquor actually)...
As far as I'm concerned the fact that he was fighting over liquor instead of Rice Crispies is a mitigating circumstance in his favor.
I was always partial to cantiague park, throw in some adventure land in farmingdale on weekend nights.
My uncle worked on the design of the Cantiague rink building. Christopher Morley and Bar Beach were my go-to’s.
I'm a born and raised Manhattanite. My park was Central Park... (only because Battery Park had too many cops)..
