'The Autopsy of Jane Doe'. I liked the premise, but yeah, spoiler, it rhymes with the word which.

'Happy Birthday to Me', with Melissa Sue Anderson. Haha, she was also in the great made for TV witch movie, 'Midnight Offerings'. IT'S FABULOUS. Lest we forget 'Prom Night', with Jamie Lee Curtis. Oh, yeah, I'll be posting videos, alright. For now I give you 'My Bloody Valentine'.

I delivered on 'Prom Night'! Of course I saw it in the theatre. This was the most horrific scene in the movie.

'Eyes Without a Face'. It really is a creep fest. A good deal of it was completely censored. 'The Skin I Live In' completely ripped it off. Heh.

EDIT & P.S.: Why does youtube stalk you everywhere you go? It's really pissing me off, and it's highly disturbing. Sorry about that, but click if you feel like it. I swear to God, fukk google.

Back to 'Burnt Offerings', the idiot kid who gets killed by the chimney stack was also the main character in 'Ben'. I never forget a face. Oliver Reed, haha, who the F says, "Oh, dear"? I would have just punched her in the face. Anyway, 'Burnt Offerings' has been a long running joke around here, because our matchbox bungalow always somehow manages to repair itself.

EDIT AND P.S.: Burgess Meredith has a similar role in this film as in 'The Sentinel'.

'Sleep Away Camp', Holy Crap, I SHRIEKED in the theatre. I couldn't stop. There went my ice-cold Pepsi. Well, it was mostly Pepsi flavored melted ice at that point, but I dropped it because because of full body paroxysms from laughing. What's with Angela's hair suit? That's what slayed me the most. Pun unintended.

Glad to see so many fellow jets/horror fans on the board.

First one I want to add is Burial Ground. I don’t know why I feel the need to champion it, but I adore that film. It’s the only movie I can recall where the zombies are vastly more intelligent than the survivors. Full of cheese and B-movie fare but GOD is it entertaining. Peter Bark is a grown man that looks (mostly) like a little boy, but if you watch it you’ll understand why the role couldn’t go to an actual child.

Any earlyish Argento. This man significantly upped my interest in filmmaking. His use of color alone in Suspiria, Deep Red, and Inferno blew me away. His movies have this otherworldly feel to them, almost dreamlike. Also of note from him: Opera, The Bird with Crystal Plumage, Four Flies on Grey Velvet and more I’m sure I’m forgetting.

    The Beyond
    Demons
    Train to Busan
    A Bay of Blood
Zero Boys - not a full on horror, but needs to be listed.
    Maniac Cop
    The Prowler
    Night of the Demons
    Welp or Cub
    Scarecrows
    The Fog
    Cube
    Severance
    Event Horizon
    Dog Soldiers
Clownhouse - yikes. The fact that the director molested one of the stars makes this one spooky.
Behind The Mask: Rise of Leslie Vernon
    Re-Animator
    From Beyond
    Dead Alive

A lot of grade A cheese and a few genuinely good films.

Argento/gaillo already mentioned. Read back on all things Argento. I know that oft times times I'm speaking to myself in here, but thanks for chiming in. The remake of 'Suspiria', it's gonna suck balls. I feel it in my bones. You can rarely top art that already exists.

Yeah, I was trying not to repeat too much of what had been posted but had to add to your praise of him. You brought up a lot of lower key movies that had slipped my mind, thanks for that.

I’m usually not THAT opposed to remakes, I mean Carpenter’s The Thing worked out okay. They almost always come up far short of the source but I try not to be too crotchety about people fucking up things I admire if it isn’t a shameless cash grab. This is definitely one of those instances where trying to add to the original feels like a no-win scenario from the jump though.

Such a cool flick, almost added it to my list but didn’t want to stretch the page even further.

The guy from Oldboy who plays the killer (name escapes me) is unbelievable.

^'Salem's Lot' was probably the greatest made for TV horror flick ever. Forget about Danny Glick. The most horrifying thing of all was David Soul's cock and balls bulging through his Sasson jeans.

Distinctly remember seeing the cover for this in a Blockbuster as a kid and being creeped out by it. Or maybe just at the sight of Clint Howard’s face.
