his avg sucks because he likes to punt the ball 60 yards for a touchback instead of learning how to coffin kick it into a corner out of bounds

What a stupid thing to say. Do you even watch Jets games? He has kicked more balls inside the 5 that bounce into the endzone than anyone I've ever seen. The punt coverage has been awful (with the exception of Brad Smith). Don't say something like that unless you know what you' re talking about please

No one gets injured during the pro-bowl. People barely tackle. A footbal player getting injured during the pro-bowl is like a kid getting poked in the eye playing patty cake.

actually, i believe ben graham has the highest or second highest avg, including being in the top 3 for punts inside the 20.

If Rhodes doesn't make it to the pro-bowl something is very, very, wrong with the system. Rhodes is pro-bowl caliber all the way.

In the AFC here are Ben Graham's stats and ranks

    Punts: 51 (T-10th in AFC)
    Avg: 44.6 (6th in AFC) (11th NFL)
    Inside 20: 19 (T-6 AFC)
TB: 10 (2nd most in AFC)
Long: 69 (3rd Longest in AFC)
Return Avg: 7.1 (3rd in AFC)

His Inside 20/TB ratio is about 2... which looks fairly bad compared to some others in the AFC. I think it may be the third worst in the AFC by just looking.

Total BS. Ben is still one of the top 3 punters in the league.

What about Dewayne and Mangold in terms of their ranks? I think they're both having excellent seasons and should definitely be considered for the pro bowl. But in the end, i dont give a s*** about the pro bowl. It's all about the names that the "fans" known (john lynch) and "oh look this guy has more tackles ill vote for him" the pro bowl voting system is awful, awful.

    NO
Yes he's had a good few games, but that doesn't put him at a Pro-Bowl level.

    Jets who should Go:
    S-Rhodes
    KR-Miller
    P-Graham
    ST-Smith (Not on the Ballot)

And this is not just looking at them as JETS but vs the rest of the AFC at their positions.

But like always, we will be left out.

  15. I was gonna make a post about this...

It's a shame D rob didnt play all season, the way he has played since the bye week...cause if he had....he'd be a shoe in for the pro bowl.... As it stands now..he still needs to be considered a late bloomer who was very inconsistent early.

W/ that said...IMO he has been our defensive MVP since the bye week. Rhodes has also been an animal..the problems early were up front...and drobs play has been a god send fo improvement.

The only Jets that deserve to go are J Miller & K Rhodes, those are not debatable.. You can also make a case for Mangold, although I think he is a year away. As much as we all love Graham, he is not a pro bowl punter. He has been way to inconsistent for a pro bowl punter..

  17. You gotta include Coles...to me he's the first one that comes to mind after Rhodes...he's ben extremely productive all year.

Not shocked about the touchback stat at all. He may have a great leg but he needs to learn how to control it. Once that number drops he probably WILL be a pro-bowler.

Yes, very true. How could I have forgotten about Coles. He is definetly having a pro bowl caliber year. Now whether he makes it is a different story altogether with the amount of quality WRs in the AFC..

No, they only ruin their careers during beach football games before the Pro Bowl starts.
